Dear List, Wendy, and Chris,

 

Thanks for all your recent posts on height and prikriti recently, very

educational. I usually have very little time right now for posts, however I

very much appreciate and enjoy reading and learning from yours and wish to

thank you for all of your great posts.

 

I'm wondering what you think of the Nakshatra influence also with regard to

height and body type. I was just looking at a few of my family members, most

of which are tall, and I noticed that my 20 year old son, although a Taurus

rising, has Krittiki Nakshatra on rising, whose Lord is Sun. I think this

may have given him an additional boost to his height. He is 6'4" and still

growing. Also, his Sun is Mulatrikona, in the fourth house.

 

My husband, also 6'4", not my son's natural father, has Sun Mulatrikona in

the tenth house and he has other factors such as Scorpio rising that you

have mentioned that give him height.

 

With my 20 year old, not so many other contributing factors, so I looked at

Nashatras and noticed that often there is mention of stature and height.

An additional bit of information on my son following up on the last email.

 

 

He got this burst of height during his Saturn/Mercury Dasha. Up until then

he was not particularly tall, and even he felt concerned at times whether he

would be six foot or not. His friends at his age were usually taller than he

was.

 

His Saturn is in Virgo, with Mercury sitting in the fourth house along with

his Mulatrikona Sun and Jupiter. His sudden height and rapid growth began

just about exactly with Saturn/Mercury. This is using Lahiri ayanamsa.
