Guest guest
Namaste Listmembers, Dear Natabara, Thankyou for providing the Charts. I am mildly surprised by Van Gogh's chart...he is more complicated than I gave him credit for...I will mull over it further before I comment. I am hardly an 'expert' in this area; just trying to make sense of it like everybody else. I am not Psyche trained but worked in the field as I have a 'flair' for it. Actually, I have sufferred physical and mental torture at various times in my life, and I am not sure which is worse. Any success is due to an accepting attitude and empathy. Mental illness is very, very painful. Even terminal. But it can be managed. To appreciate Nietzches' frame of mind, I placed great weight on the Nakshatras. Infant and debilitated sun in 12th hse of loss, in Chitra (ruler Mars) and Lagna Lord Mars in 11th hse of gains, in Uttara Phalguni (ruler Sun), would have to set up an unresolvable antagonism. Exalted Mercury(owner of 11th&8th hses) would meld with the energies of Mars, which is poorly placed in Navamsa 6th hse Aquarius. Also Mercury is Lagna Lord in Navamsa Aries 8th hse. Intense frustration and depression being the probable result. I am already ducking for cover!, but sorry, I can't see genius in this chart. I suppose it would depend on ones definition. Nietzche expanded on Goethes philosophies, which is undeniably intelligent, but did he have an original 'seed' thought?. So not only is poor old Nietzche sad, but the egoic processes at work would suggest he sent himself there. He either felt himself misunderstood or was bitterly disappointed by lack of recognition. Fire away Folks, Ann.
Guest guest
Yes thanks Natabara, I also took a look at the post. Nietzche is a clear cut case of possession, as the Moon is debilitated in Lagna, and conjunct Rahu. Note however that this forms a kendratrikona rajayoga, which makes the combination very strong, giving his amazing mental faculties. Guest guest
Alex, Can you please explain, the kendratrikona rajayoga a bit more? Guest guest
Namaste Arun, The combinations of a trine lord 1,5,9 with a kendra lord forms a highly auspicious yoga that brings strength to the planets involved. After detecting the combination in the chart you must next look how it is taking effect. So you see the house placement, the ownership of the planets and the natural significations of those planets. The nodes placed in a trine take on the auspiciousness of a trine lord, so their combination with a kendra lord causes this yoga. Likewise their position in a kendra conjoined with the lord of a trine. In Nietzche's case we have a trine lord being the Moon as the 9th lord in the ascendant with Rahu, acting as a kendra first lord. So we have the combination. As to how this powerful combination took effect, Moon rules the mind, and the 9th house rules philosophy, as well as higher mental functions. The first house also rules mental functions. Rahu rules the unorthodox. Rahu takes ownership of Aquarius, the 4th house of education, and combines with the 9th lord of higher learning to make a strong yoga for being learned in the fields denoted by Moon, Rahu and Scorpio. Guest guest
Such a tragedy! Let us all pray for all those affected by the insanity. Why these so called terrorists can't be wiped out alltogether, alongwith the people or countries funding / prtecting them (to fulfil their own ego)?
