Dear Chris, That was my point: if your ascendant is okay the results are good. So if results are bad, the AC is perhaps wrong! If we patiently try to get better results by shifting the AC we may arrive at the right TOB. But first try with charts where TOB is correct within 5 minutes. This will change the AC by a bit over 1° and the moon takes about 2 hours to cover this. So if a return angle gets closer to a significant planet, this gives a clue. You can then work back. But at first you have to convince yourself that it is effective and accurate! Solar returns are just as dubious: the position may not change, but the sun moves so slowly that the angles may be way out! BTW: you wrote about the Uranus ingress. What did Rick predict exactly? For you Uranus has entered Aquarius, but not for me, as a Fagan /chandrahari addict! By Chandrahari the entry is on 4th may, wih Mercury closely square. By Fagan on 14 May with sun closely square. If anything significant happens around those dates we may have the right ayanamsa! I personally think 9 May is the right day.... please keep your eye on the stockmarket in May. I am a fool at such things! regards Mani
