Hi, i am reading a book A FOREST OF KINGS, the untold story of the Ancient Maya.

Archeologists in the past 30 years have found amazing info about the Mayas.

Before they thought that the Mayas were isolated but new findings shows that

they were linked with other important tribes as well.

 

The taboo of working isolated is breaking down ans now archeologists are working

in cooperation with other professionals like entomologists, zoologists,

antrophologists, architects, etc. However, they still have to work with

astrologers to get another perspective of their findings.

 

In the book there is a table of 42 dates found on stone slabs in the Maya area

describing a Time Sequence of the History of the Caracol-Tikal-Naranjo-Wars.

 

Archeologists are aware of the importance of Venus for the Mayas and have found

a ceratin correlation in the dates with venus.

 

I felt that they have not done their homewwork as usual and i used the GJ and a

table of planetary conjunctions to see some charts.

 

We know that the Mayas like the Aztecs, Incas and other tribes follow cyclic

times and consider that behind every force of nature there is a powerful

demigod. Rivers, trees, hills, mountains, flowers, the Sun, the Moon etc, have

a personality. There is as well the belief that they used to worship the

personalities in the outer planets and that they had the capability to see them

in the sky. Maybe they could see them because of the clear skies in their areas

or because they used to (their priests) take peyotle, magic mushrooms, algaes,

or certain seeds to expand their senses.

 

Lets see some of the dates given in that book. All dates are after Christ.

 

In 31 Dec 0537, the king Double-Bird accedes. On the 29 Dec 0537, there was a

conjunction of Jupiter-Saturn at 5°34 Cap. I have calculated the dates noon for

Merida the present capital of the Yucatan county, were the Mayas have their

home. On that day according to the GJ, Pluot is at 5°37, Jupiter at 6°02 and

the Sun at 7°11. Is this a coincidence? Furthermore, at sunset on that day,

Venus could be seen at 12°26 Aq, Rahu (if they had the power to see it) was at

18°29 and Neptune was at 24°04 Aq.

 

There are 2 very interesting dates: 23 Mar 0710 Smoking Squirrel attacks Yaxha

and 28 june 0710 sacrifice of Yaxha captive. There arre 6 planets in the 10th

house, Mars, Saturn, Venus, Mercury, Jupiter and Pluto which could have been

seen just after sunset (except mercury which is at 10° from the Sun which is at

29° Gemini. The year 710 was very peculiar cos there was a triple conjunction

of Jupiter-Saturn on 17 Sep 709, 08 Feb 710 and 3 Apr 710 all in Cancer (Lahiris

ayanamsa). Also there was the conjunction of Pluto-Jupiter on the 6 Jun 710 at

20°48 Cancer. And the conjunction of Pluto-Saturn was on the 16 july 710 at

21°55 Cancer.

 

So far of 42 dates i have found that 16 could be related to conjunctions of the

outer planets including Jupiter and Saturn. More research has to be done in

this area but i am confident that eventually we will be able to find tangible

evidence of the astrological knowledge of the Mayas.

 

On 27 March 698, Shield God K accedes. This date could be related to the triple

conjunction of Neptune with Saturn which happened on 7 May 698, 11 Jul 698 and 5

jan 699 all in aquarius.

 

4 Nov 556, ax-war against Tikal. At noon, Sun is at 18° Aries and Saturn is at

18°15 Aries, the Moon is at 6°35 Libra.

 

To play with the dates i took the first 10 dates and see the position of Venus.

Of those 10 dates, Venus is ahead of the Sun 5 times for 2 signs, this means

that Venus can be seen as the famous evening star just after sunset. 3 times is

behind the Sun for 2 signs as the morning star. One date has Venus 3 signs

behind the Sun. And the 10th date 4 May 627 has Venus at 26°05 taurus, Mercury

at 29°43, Mars at 18°34 and the Sun at 8°01 all in Taurus.

 

Of the 10 dates, 2 are in Aries and 1 in Leo Fire signs. 2 are in Gemini, 1 in

Libra and 1 in Aquarius (air signs) 2 are in Pisces (water) and the only date

with Venus and sun in the same sign falls in Taurus. This date indicates a ball

game and sacrifice. The Mayas and other tribes used to play a ball game in

especial "stadiums". The losers used to be sacrificed to the gods by cutting

their heads off. Of those 42 dates in consideration only one shows a ball game

and is the one already mentioned with Mars, Venus, Mercury and the Sun.

 

I hope that you find this interesting. BTW the book has more than 100 dates

which in time i am going to explore in detail.

Till i found you Juarez was my dearest Mexican - Montecuhzoma was not, seems to

have been rather stupid!

 

I do wish you will really deeply investigate Amerindian cultures, for there is a

welth of info there, which was lost in India. The stupid Gringo listens to the

fairy tales of the Amerindians, not realizing that they are only stories to

entertain children, and that the real initiation into the history and religious

truth takes place in the kiowas, forbidden for the paleface.

 

 

I´d like to read this book you mention. Can you help me to get it? Where can I

order it? I need the isbn number, name of uthor and publisher.

The future work alone is not enough, but a great deal of backward research. A

simple example: when astrologers depict the heaven in a chart, the east point is

shown on the left, which transposes the the positions as in a mirror.

We are used to showing east on the right in a map. Further, the chart is

2-dimensional: it shows MC and IC, which are in a plane at right angles to the

flat east-west-north -south plane. Archaelogists etc., ignorant of this,

dismiss the charts given in graves as imaginary or false observation - or just

riddles! Because they don´t show positions as in an astronomical atlas! Many

dates can be rectified if we get the charts found in the diggings!

PS: Just for thought. and a laugh:

 

I admired Juarez because I saw a film about him, with Paul Muni as Juarez. Viva

Zapata with Marlon Brando was also moving, showing the cycles of human aims and

corruption of ideals. Zapata´s realization of this was the climax, when he gives

up his power and retires disillusioned, his death the tragedy.

 

It was always amazing how Mexican soldiers died like flies in Hollywood movies.

The Alamo with John Wayne etc. was a great thrill! Even the dreadful general

Santa Anna showed compassion: he gave everyone a chance to leave the fort

unhurt. The heroes remained.... and died.

 

When J.F.K. visited the Alamo, he felt tired at the end, asked the curator if he

could get out thru some back door and avoid the crowds waiting for him at the

entrance to the fort. The Curator answered, "Mr. President, there is

unfortunately no back door in this fort. Maybe that´s why there were so many

heroes!".... These words were heard and the poor curator had a tough time to

escape being lynched!

 

I´d love to visit Mexico, but am not keen to meet the rattlers!
