Dear Rahu,

We never stop learning. But I just a bug with the Atlas and hope you don´t fall

into it with GJ3! :

The old version of the Atlas was on 4 floppy diskettes and was - at least in

this matter, God knows where a worm is hiding! - okay. The new version comes

with other programmes on a CD. And it has this bug: when you first refer to it,

it gives the proper time zone for all places, in winter the standad time. If now

you change to a summer day it at once gives DST. But if you now revert to winter

it refuses to change, keeps on giving DST! So if I do a chart for summer and

follow it up with another for winter for the same country the second chart is

cast for a wrong time. Actually discovered this only yesterday and re-installed

my Atlas with the old diskettes to get rid of this problem.

So in incorporating the ACS Atlas, make sure this doesn´t mess up your

programme!

regards

Mani
