Homework from Amsterdam:

The thing I know for sure is that they are looking for a house (to buy)

right now. But she also wants to come back sometime..... So first things

first. (I leave out all the 'I think', 'maybe', 'what do you think' - this

to make it readable and that is the only reason :-))

Dasha is: Saturn-Sun. Sun is in the 4th. Saturn tr. is in 12. Sun is lord of

12 in d4. In d4 Sun is in 10, aspecting 4. The moon (house) is sitting in

12 in both Rasi and d4. In d4 Jupiter (lord 4 in d4) and Rahu are

transiting the 10th, thus aspecting the 4th house. And jupiter is aspecting

its own house (d4) . So, for the time being, as long as the connection 4/12

stays as strong as it is now, she' ll move, because there is a strong

emphasis on the 4 th house, but not overseas, because of the connection

between 4 and 12. I think Jupiter and Rahu transiting 10th house in D4 might

take of the move. Because Rahu is strongly involved here, it will probably

not be a smooth matter.

(Her reaction would probably be: 'what else is new'... but since she has

the Sun in 4 as a mild malefic and Mars aspecting the 4th house and the Sun

in the Rasi, AND Mars is in 4 in D4 - AND Mercury as lord of the 4th in

Rasi is in the 8th in d4 and debilitated in Navamsa -that is what could

explain this answer. don't worry, she knows I am working on this chart in

general but I have not said anything)

We have Saturn-Sun-Mars right now. Right now she will not succeed because of

the aspect of mars on the fourth house in Rasi. So I think she will move in

Sat.-Sun- Jupiter. (30-april / 15 june). Since Saturn transit is in 12 in

Rasi I think it is likely she'll buy and not rent, because of his aspecting

the 2nd.

I don't know how right or wrong I might be, but.......... having tremendous

fun. Next question. When will she move back?

o.k. So in that light she'll have to move back during the Saturn Dasha which

gives us till jan 2010. The last Bhukti of Saturn is Jupiter (in 12 in Rasi

AND lord of the 4th in D4 - thanks for the tips....). The beginning of

Mercury Dasha is tempting too, but yes - shoot me - I have cheated and dear

old Pluto is opposing her Western ac in 2007 and Saturn will be in the

fourth -.

So, back to Saturn - Jupiter. (2007 - 2010)

Rahu: Rasi - will be in Aquarius, aspecting Mercury (L4) in 2007 and a part

of 2008. In D4 he will be with Jupiter, l4. And aspecting the 12th house

too. In Chandra langna he will be in the 10th, aspecting the 4th house.

Saturn: has a problem making up his mind during that period. Hopping from

Cancer to Leo (call me for a free consult :-)) ) and back. Both ways he is

affecting the house. From the 2nd he is aspecting the 4 th house and from

the 3rd, he'll be aspecting Mercury L4. On second thought I think Leo is a

better guess since he will be aspecting Mercury and the 12th House. Ketu

will be in Leo too and in Chandra Langna it doesn't look nice either, with

both Ketu and Saturn in 4. And in Chandra L. Saturn is aspecting Mercury

too.

Now I have this awkward feeling: Jupiter in 12 in Rasi is involved in the

transits and jupiter is a weakened L7. old age and in 12. Mercury is

involved and Mercury is l7 in Navamsa. Mercury is debilitated in Navamsa and

Jupiter is in the sign of an enemy. Is it very stupid (please say yes) to

assume that her return might have to do with her husband. Or more precisely;

with not so pleasant situations regarding her husband... (just afraid to say

it aloud). Ketu will also be aspecting the 7th house in Rasi and Rahu will

do the same in the Navamsa. Better timing........ beats me......

I am so curious what you have to say about this all. Don't be easy on me. My

motto (for myself) is: when you mess up, do it well...

ps: Leo ? 26 degrees? Uranus having a ball......

Hi Sanny:

Rahu is in Gemini/D-4 10th but it doesn't normally aspect its opposition.

Tr. Ketu IS in the D-4 4th so that's still a nodal influence on 4th house

matters. Jupiter is still in Taurus/D-4 9th, right?

And jupiter is aspecting

>its own house (d4) .

Only after June when it goes into Gemini -- I guess you're targeting that

time for her move back.

So, for the time being, as long as the connection 4/12

>stays as strong as it is now, she' ll move, because there is a strong

>emphasis on the 4 th house, but not overseas, because of the connection

Yeah, I don't know about how Rahu will affect the quality of the move. I

agree with your basic thinking here that heavy planetary influence on the

D-4 4th can force a move. But also remember that D-4 12L Sun in Gemini

will be conjuncted by that transiting Jupiter around Jun 25, so that offers

a more exact timing possbility.

However, I don't think Jupiter should be closely involved in this. It isn't

a dasha planet so it must be considered a 2nd level influence. That's one

way to keep all these transits straight. Prioritize the transits involved

in the dashas, and then move on down the line. So, besides Rahu, which

always merits our attention, Saturn should be considered first I think. (If

only fast moving planets were dasha lords, then we would have another

problem.)

The whole timing issue is brought into clear relief because dasha lord

Saturn in the 12th natally is approaching its natal position in the 12th.

That immediately alerts us to the possibility that a natal configuration

will be "released" soon. In her chart, however, the situation surrounding

moves is made more complicated by the fact that Saturn and Moon -- karaka

for home -- are both in the 12th. Saturn contacting either planet

therefore can bring about a move/emigration. In my experience, transits

are usually not exact, especially in the rashi chart. However there are a

couple of other things that help us. By transit, Saturn is now aspecting

the rashi MC at 1Aq26 and will exactly conjunct its natal position around

April 10. It will conjunct that 12L Moon around mid-June.

Rahu now aspects rashi 4L Mercury exactly and will be only one degree past

at April 10. By June, it will be about 5 degrees off exact aspect,

although this would still be effective in my book.

How about ADL, the Sun? This is pretty tricky stuff I admit and I wouldn't

put much stock in my analysis or anybody's for that matter as there are

simply too many possibilities for such a fast moving planet. However, in

early April when the Sun is still in Pisces, it will aspect it's own 4H

rashi position (remembering that the Sun has clear emigration potential

owing to its ownership of the 12H in D-4.

Looking at the June option though, the Sun in early Gemini in late June

means that it will be crossing the rashi Asc FWIW, and perhaps more

importantly in d-4 is will be conjuncting its own position and aspecting a

planet in the 4H (Mars). That configuration may be noteworthy.

Now, would it be OK if I go back to Jupiter? It's still worth considering

of course, just not up front maybe. I just noticed that around Jul 9 it

will be making an exact aspect to the D-4 MC. Ah, another angle! I like

aspects to angles by slow moving planets, but I'm not sworn to them. It's

also a dangerous game since the TOB has to be very clean.

Overall, I should prefer earlier April date with the close DL Saturn aspect

to itself and to rashi MC/D-4 MC, but I'm still on the fence somewhat.

It's close between both but that Sun transit in Gemini seems better than

its Pisces transit. Perhaps she'll move twice somehow, first on April 10th

and then again in late June-early July, I don't know. To decide between

the two, I would check out the lunations and other (western) stuff for the

two dates to see which was better.

I know lots of people use 3-levels dashas but I don't because of lingering

ayanamsha questions, and the dreaded parallax correction question. I

gather you're using lahiri, while I'm using krishnamurti. That 3D Jupiter

period moves around quite a bit...

and

Oh no! Can't we leave that question for another time? I'm all pooped just

with this one! :-)
