In actual fact they both were. The witnessing being as real and traumatic as the actual abuse was...both suffered this dreadful abuse. Taking time to actually consider the fact that mahadasa Moon (lord of 12th) is in 10th house of Twin 1. and that she also has the potential for lung disorders with Mercury in ascendant aspected by 6th lord Saturn. I must confess I hardly glanced at the first twins chart as I mistakenly assumed the second twin was the victim...in actual fact she was...they both were! One physically, the other emotionally...but which was which...I'm not sure now! Rahu aspects the 7th house, as does Mars. Saturn although in own house, is combining with the aspect of these two violent planets to make a very serious malefic effect on the 7th. Mars the violent planet is in the house of sex. The navamsa chart which is the divisional chart of sex has 4 planets in Scorpio in the 12th house of sex. Rahu, Mars, Saturn and Mercury all malefic planets indicating a traumatic sex experience. The combination of the 3 malefics in the house of sex is one for rape. The 7th lord of sex, Mercury, is also completely afflicted by these malefics in the 12th house of sex. As a result of this sex crime, the Leo ascendant individual has since the abuse had many sexual relations. This is shown by the cycle of Mars in the 12th house, followed by Rahu aspecting the 7th house and its lord. There is also a tendency towards homosexuality. In the Virgo ascendant chart both the 7th house and 12th house remain free from affliction, indicating more of a normal sex experience. But I think we have to clarify who it is that's located in the 12th house and therefore WHO it is that's having this (12th house) experience. To clarify my line of thinking: 3rd lord in 12th = younger sibling suffers through 12th house affairs. 4th lord in 12th = mother suffers through 12th house affairs. 5th lord in 12th = children suffer through 12th house affairs...etc, etc.... Venus in 12th = spouse suffers through 12th house affairs. Jupiter in 12th = Children/elder sibling can suffer through 12th house affairs...etc, etc... In chart of eldest twin 10th lord Venus (father) and karaka for younger sibling (Mars) are joined in 12th. On a personal level this is WHO is captured in the 12th house. In the chart of younger twin Asc lord Mercury in 12th denotes that it is SHE who suffered through 12th house affairs. At first glance perhaps one could say that Mercury in 12th is not suffering any heavy affliction...but look closer and you will see...Mercury is in constellation of Venus (conjunct Mars) and, importantly, Saturn's aspect on Mercury becomes significant in this regard when we consider that he's in the constellation of Mars. Guest guest Posted March 11, 2001 Report Share Posted March 11, 2001 As I took a second look at twin 2 (Virgo) I noticed that the Sun and Mercury are in exchange. The Sun (karaka of father) is in the ascendant and the ASC lord Mercury is in the 12th. It's as if her self has been displaced and sent into exile in the 12th house (sexual pleasures). Also, Debilitated Mars conjunct Venus is aspecting the 2nd house (early childhood). Here is an interesting theory. Many people have had less traumatic experiences that caused them to disassociate so radically that they were literally catapulted into an out of body experience. Imagine the terror of a small child in such a situation. And not only because of the fact that you are being violated by an adult man, but by your own father. So, as the abuse takes place(or perhaps before it begins) one or both of these twins disassociates so intensely that they leave their body and watch from a distant vantage point. There is no sensation from there, just a visual experience. The twin says to herself ,"why is he doing that to my sister" (they are after all identical twins) not discerning that it is actually herself who is being abused. With the tendency humans have for self-deception and the need to protect the self from such a horrible realization, and the fact that the visual evidence being experienced attests to such a thing, we have a case of mistaken identity. And then anytime the abuse begins the protection mechanism comes into place via an out of body experience. I don't think that this is to far fetched. It is however only a speculation, but I think that maybe it's possible that they were both abused and some dynamic like this theory is the explanation.
