When I 'do' a vedic chart I tend to gather a lot of information about a person in general. (analyzing a person in general, character wise or tendency wise is something western astrologers are trained for). When I read books by the 'very learned vedic astrologers' they all approach the chart 'eventwise' and this is something I absolutely don't know how to do or even how to get started.
