Hi, talking about Leo. I wonder if this is linked.

 

I have read that the game of chess gave the notion that the white king had a

white minister or adviser (not a queen cos he was in battle), the bishops were

elephants, the horses were horses & the castles where the chariots like the

chariot were Krishna was the driver and Arjuna the fighter.

 

Meditating about it, i came across the idea that the white king is like the Sun

or Leo; the white queen is like Cancer or the moon; the elephants are like

Mercury or Gemini & Virgo; the horses are like Venus or Taurus & Libra and the

elephants are like Mars or Aries & Scorpio. From the opposite side, we have

that the black king is like Aquarius or Sani; the black minister is like

capricorn or Sani; the black bishops are like Jupiter or Sagittarius & Pisces;

the black horses are like Mars or Scorpio & Aries; and the black elephants are

like Venus (sukra) or Libra & Taurus.

 

Mars and Venus are in both sides of the game board and they represent the karma

(activities) and the desires to be fulfilled with those activities, hence the

game between the opposite forces of light and darkness.
