Guest guest
Dear Robert: Thanks for your thorough explanation. As I thought, there were a number of important intervening factors between the Uranus conjunction to Ven-Sat and her spiritiual realization! I don't know Drig dasha but will look into it when time permits. I wonder if I might look at her chart to see if I might find another path to this outcome using the techniques that I know. > >This is a good question, and so let me give you three good answers: > >1. The 5th is important for spiritual sadhana, initiations, as well as >receiving mantras. These are its significations, as per Jaimini and >Parasara, as well as by experience. This is because it is the 9th from >the 9th, and thus carries important significations of that area of >life. For Libra rising natives, the most important spiritual advancement >will always occur during the dasas of Saturn, as well as Mercury. "Always" is a pretty strong word. I assume you mean if Saturn and Mercury are strong enough in the chart. Also if Saturn and Mercury (5L and 9L) are conjoined by Rahu then wouldn't their roles be taken over by Rahu and thus Rahu dasha would produce these effects? Of course, that opens the more important question of whether someone with 5L conjunct Rahu could ever reach any significant level of spiritual understanding. Of the face of it, I would say no, but I look forward to hearing your opinion. Chris
