Guest guest
Hi Chris <<First of all, let me say I have never worn a gem and have never suggested to anyone to wear one. I've heard stories of their effectiveness, but I'm not convinced yet. They're so expensive and they often act as a lazy substitute for a person taking charge of their life in a more active way. Sort of like taking a pill to lower blood pressure rather than changing one's lifestyle.>> Yes, but the pill (medicine) helps as well. Like you, me too do not wear gems cos i do not have the money. One day, a friend gave me a Blue Saphire (beautiful) but another astrologer expert in gems told me to take it off cos it had bubbles, and instead of helping it was bad. The gem was a gift and expensive & i was reluctant to take off. One day i lost it & i saw it as a good omen. I see gems like wearing glasses. Glasses can protect your eyes. If people can afford a good quality gem prescribed by an expert, i do not see any harm. And like you say, a garnet is ok as well. Let me tell you a story that i read in the Astrological Magazine of the late B V Raman. There was this jeweller wearing a huge ruby, cos a friend told him to wear it to improve business. 3 months later, his health went down, bleeding from ears, eyes & nose. Doctors could not find anything wrong but he ended in bed & almost dying. One day, a Vedic astrologer came to visit, did his chart & saw that his sun was very powerful & therefore, the ruby was given extra energies to the sun. The astrologer advice to take the ruby out of the house. 3 months later, the poor man was back to normal. regards natabara
