Guest guest
Dasanudas Very interesting topic & do not feel "out of touch" when someone does not reply to your posting. Many of us are shy & sometimes we do not want to post anything. Others like to read only. Others do not have time to post. there may be many explanations about why we do not get replies sometimes. Sometimes we think that a posting is just a comment not expecting a reply. Anyway, could you please tell me the chapter & sloka of the Srimad Bhagavatam mentioning about Radha being born blind? Regarding Rahu & Ketu, in the context mentioned by you (amazing info), i feel that we should rely on the description of the planets given by Parasara at the beginning of the BPHS. Rahu is Varaha Avatar, the one that put the Earth back in orbit, the one that rescued Earth. Ketu is Matsya avatar, the one that protected the Vedas from the deluge of ignorance. One day my daughter Sarasvati, 7 years old at that time, wrote in plasticine Radha with Krishna & put it on the shelf with Prabhupada's books. I said to her, "it is Radha & Krishna or Radha-Krishna", & she said "No, it is Radha with Krishna because Radha is always with Krishna". She is right, they are always together. Rahu & Ketu are the same entity but were "separated" when Visnu cutted the head off Rahu, but in reality they are still together, that is why they are 180° "separated" as "see" or perceived from earth. Guest guest
Natabara Prabhu, | Anyway, could you please tell me the chapter & sloka of the | Srimad Bhagavatam mentioning about Radha being born blind? Excuse me, that is not from Srimad Bhagavatam, but from the writings of the Gosvamis. Maybe Ujjvala-nilamani by Rupa Gosvami. Sorry for the confusion. The Bhagavatam barely mentions Srimati Radharani, She is so confidential. But everything is revealed in the writings of the Gosvamis. | Regarding Rahu & Ketu, in the context mentioned by you (amazing | info), i feel that we should rely on the description of the | planets given by Parasara at the beginning of the BPHS. | | Rahu is Varaha Avatar, the one that put the Earth back in orbit, | the one that rescued Earth. Ketu is Matsya avatar, the one that | protected the Vedas from the deluge of ignorance. Interesting. I suppose it is just my tendency to want to see the Divine Couple everywhere. I will have to contact the Murti-wallah directly and find out why he decorated the Deities like that. | she said "No, it is Radha with Krishna because | Radha is always with Krishna". Haribolo! How fortunate you are to have such a nice child. All the best, Dasanudas http://www.harinam-arts.org
