Guest guest
There are many "classics" if we simply mean old books from India. BPHS does not contain many readings. It is a book of mostly the calculations of Parashara Jyotish. It gives us "Parashara Jyotish" in an overall way. Many other books give much more readings based on these basics. For example, Sarvartha Cintamani, Hora Ratnam, Jataka Bharnam, Jataka Tattva... These books have much more "readings" than BPHS, by great measure. There you'll find readings that often work well I've found, and when things work, they work. I've never felt limited to just BPHS. But I do feel like I'm a pretty devoted Parashara Jyotish kind of guy. Just a thought. raghu
