Hmmm anything's my guess...Saturn ruler of 4th and 5th in 9th with Ketu in Gem and Merc in 4th (Cap-nice little mutual exchange happening there) with Venus (1st ruler) and Jupie...Navamsa shows Merc in 2nd in Cap (hey, would that be considered Vargottama?) ruler of 4th and 5th again in 9th...In Dasamsa, rulers of 2nd, 3rd and 5th in 9th..Merc in own sign in 10th...or quite simply: I'm an alpha-geek extraordinaire...I'm either on the computer or reading for class or pleasure ("pleasure" being a good dose of Kant, Hayek, Derrida, Yeats, Plath, persuing my astrology library, and much much more! I "sound" like an infomercial)...yeah, and a good dose of perpetual mantras swimming round in my head....Gayatri Mantram anyone? Degree number one is finished for me...I have about 5 more or so to go, hah!!! > Completely true. Alright...I'll simply "turn my head" on that one...we are all allowed our little fantasies now and then... :0) > Do tell: data? 01/12/1974 1:56AM PDT Orange, CA 33N47 117W51 What's the deal with that Ruchaka yoga? Mars is a degree and one half past Moolatrikona...so, no MT? I vaguely remember reading either Braha or Frawley analyzing someone's chart and mentioning something to the tune that a planet just past MT perhaps still maintained the strong effect of MT? Alright, so my mind has been on the fritz since giving birth, thus, I may be pulling this out of thin air ... Also, I'm in Mars Mahadasa..Rahu Mahadasa is next...it worries me (yeah well, there is little that doesn't when I allow it)due to the fact I've read that Rahu may come in with a real "bang" but heavy losses going out of it (ach, the material world snuck in on me)...and the next Mahadasa is Jupie--which is not in such a good placement in Cappy and is ruler of a Dusthana and Upachaya... Set me straight on these please... > Is this pronounced phonetically? ['Slantay 'choogat]? What are the > origins of Gaelic/Irish anyway? It's pre-Latin, isn't it? Looks pretty > weird. But I can say that since "Kevill" is Irish. County Mayo, I'm told. It's pronounced 'slawnchuh khugut'....according to my "Learning Irish" text, Irish Gaelic was brought by the invading Gaels (Gauls) about 300 B.C....the Vikings had a go at the island, so we have a mixture of Norse and of course Latin due to good ole Roman invasions...I used to have a bit more knowledge of the Irish language but my current subjects in school have taken precedence...oh well... I'll pick it up again... Slante chugat, Kat and Her Little Fiery Justice, Kegan
