Guest guest
Namaste Mani, My birth details are as follows: 8th Dec 1958 Mildura Victoria 1am (34S12 142E09).Leo lagna approx 25deg58. Just to add some extra information following the thread concerning Rahu and addictions. I smoke 'like a train'. I just Love cigarettes. It freaks me out sometimes; If I were on a desert island, I would probably grind the sand and smoke it!. I justify this particularly nasty habit by shrugging my shoulders and thinking 'well something has to take me out'!. But, knowing I will die otherwise and quickly,I continue on my hedonistic way. Awful I know, but that is the nature of the beast. Fond Regards, Ann. P.S Does Heaven have a 'smoking room'? seems a pity to go all the way 'down there' for a puff!. Now, there is a less-known rule that appears in Jataka-tattva and Saravali: If malefics join the 3rd, 6th, or 12th houses *in debilitation*, there is a Vipareet effect, or in other words, they act like yoga-karakas. Vipareet means a "reversal" of what you would normally expect, or "two negatives equal a positive", as in mathematics. Anyway, Saturn debilitated in the 8th qualifies as a Vipareet planet, and especially in the case of Your Navamsa chart, where he also rules the 3rd, and occupies the 6th. Now, if other lords of Dusthanas were to conjoin or aspect, then a full-fledged Vipareet Raja-yoga would result. Have you ever noticed w.r.t. charts with Taurus rising, and Saturn debilitated in the 12th? The dasa of Saturn, in many such cases, is brilliant and productive of much success, both in career, as well as studies and spirituality. Also, Saturn's being the karaka of the 6th and 8th, and joining the 12th, makes it a "Karaka Viapreet Raja yoga". Interesting - look for it in such charts with Taurus rising. If career had been good during the Saturn dasa, then you would need to quantify the strength of Saturn in the Dasamsa chart as well. If peace of mind and tolerance were experienced, then you would need to see what Saturn is doing in the Chaturthamsa also. Best wishes, Robert ===================================== Robert A.
