Thanks for your in-depth analysis. I think there will be lots of parallels

between the two countries during the next few months. I, too, will

particularly watch the Mars transit over the Moon in both charts. I'm not

that familiar with the Philippine situation, but here in the US I find it

easy to believe that Bush will raise such antagonism that he will be unable

to govern.

 

I'm surprised that he hasn't already done that. Yesterday was an important

decision, in which the Bush administration went against their ideological

interests and were pragmatic when they extended the deadline concerning the

California power crisis emergency measures for two more weeks. Personally, I

think if he gets the Californians focussing on him as the source of their

discomfort, then he is "toast." It doesn't matter which political ideology

Americans are, when it comes to their personal comfort (this is a nation with

a close Venus-Jupiter conjunction, after all!) the politics will be cast

aside and comfort will determine what happens.

Lalia, i am not an expert on mundane astrology. I used to play with charts many

years ago but at present my brains are rusty. Yes, the inauguration times of

both Bush in America & Gloria Arroyo in the phillippines are practically the

same, except for the navamsa chart. Although the same navamsa lagna, the moon

is in the 3rd in SG for Gloria & in the 5th in AQ for Bush. The Sun also is

different in navamsa, in Gloria's it is in the 5th & in Bush is in the 6th.

 

In rasi, the 5th house indicates diplomacy and intentions among other things, &

for both countries the sun is in the 10th with ME lord of 3 & 6, indicating

certain problems which both leaders have to face. From the navamsa in Gloria's

the sun is aspecting its own sign & in a good house. While in Bush, the sun is

in the 6th navamsa with lord of the 9 & 12, indicating more serious problems

than to Gloria's.

 

It is my feeling that Mars in transit over the inauguration Moons (Gloria's

18°50 SC & Bush 25°11 SC) is going to trigger seroius conflicts regarding the

8th house indications. Also, the moon as the ruler of the 4th house indicates

the mentality of the population and therefore anxieties & general unrest is

likely to be seen more obvious from the time when Mars goes into Scorpio on 3

Feb 2001 @ 8:50 GMT, accelerating the unrest around the conjunction with the

Moons in Scorpio.

 

Lets see in the weeks ahead what Mars is going to do. Regarding your question

about war. It is my feeling that a kind of war is going on right now. Politics

are difficult to understand by average people. In the corridors of power there

is almost always 2 opposite parties. Even among the freemasons we can see that

conflict. According to the vedas, there must be always a single head to lead.

More than one head means conflict. among many nations in our days there is a

lot of friction & conflicts between parties, that is the nature of kali Yuga.

During the inauguration of Bush, i detected a wall of ice between the

Republicans & the democrats. Gore was furious & he almost blew it. Bill was

relax but angry & the best was hillary, smilling & a good diplomatic. Bush was

full of himself. In politics, sometimes you have to keep quite and wait for

your turn. There is not doubt among international politicians that the american

elections were a circus. The Russians & Chinese are cautious & cold about the

whole issue, they do not trust the Americans at all & much less after this. The

Common Market (Europe, similar). There are a lot of secret agendas which we

ordinary people will not find out in the next 20 or 30 years, but we can feel

it. There is a lot of turmoil goin on at the moment. Wars can be started under

any excuse & to satisfy those hidden agendas.

 

In both countries, USA & the Phillipines, Jupiter lord of the 12th (secret

agendas & secret enemies) is in the 2nd (house of national assets, the Federal

Reserve etc, that although a private company, nevertheless manipulates the

economy of the country and the whole world with its policies) causing a daridra

yoga. This means the risk of a so called recession & even devaluation for both

countries. Rahu in the 3rd is likely to bring problems of communication,

misunderstandings and frictions.

 

Any war means to undermine the enemies with either sanctions, diplomacy or

intimidation, which it is what the USA has been doing for years to many

countries. With Aries rising and Mars or lagna without the aspect of Jupiter,

indicates the going wild Mr Bush or Mrs Gloria. But in navamsa, Mars is under

subhakartari yoga, indicating that whoever put them in power do not want to risk

an open conflict..........yet.

 

Those are my feelings, no to be taking seriously, i feel very rusty, unfit, & i

am just talking to myself.
