Chris is right! Transiting TS planets have no perceptible effect - unless ones reads effects into them that are also otherwise explained! Transiting Ts planets are of interest only in return maps like solar or lunar returns, if in angles. But if natal TS planets appear on angles they act more strongly. Angles means very tight conjunctions, not just rasi! Progressions of other planets to TS in natal work IMHO within 1 year of actual contact. Progressions of TS planets to others is too vague: even the accuracy of calculation of position is doubtful. Anyway such progressions are so slow that they belong to destiny and other features would show the trend anyhow. A Damascus experience of turning Saul to Paul can be a TS influence, but must be supported by other evidence too. It is wise to study the TS planets, unwise to base predictions on these! I saw Gore winning, yet losing. Thought his winning would be accepted, but that he would be killed. Even begged people to pray for him. Actually his winning was accepted by the people, not officially; he was cheated, not killed! Pluto worked, but mildly! Jyothish may help in assessment: positions in varga charts, MB positions etc. But everything has to be studied and shared, remembering that one swallow does not make summer! regards Mani
