Guest guest
dear Mani, amigo Yes, you are right by saying that the last conjunction of Ju & Sa in Aries was not in opposition to Pluto. What i was refering to was that such a conjunction is the last in the series of Aries, because the next one is going to be in taurus. When i was writting i was thinking about the planetary cycles. We have the 20 years cycle in the conjunction of Ju & Sa, but then we have a cycle of about 800 to 900 years to see the same series of conjunctions in Aries. Then, we have the return of Sa of 30 years and Ju of 12 but Pluto's return is 248 years. The mathematics involved in a cycle of seeing a conjunction of Ju & Sa in Aries opposite to Pluto is astronomical. The closest thing we are seeing right now is the association of Ju & Sa in Taurus opposite to pluto in Scorpio. But even this configuration is astronomical, mathematical speaking. When professionals are building a road, they require 2 points to make sure that the proposed direction is accurate. In a similar way, opposition of planets can be taken as two points of reference. Ju & Sa in taurus are already causing some effects on taurus (if we take into consideration natal planets etc) but when we look at the guy opposite, the opposition is making some effects as well. But if we research when was the last association of Ju & Sa in Taurus opposite to Pluto, i cannot find it yet. My numbers go back as far as 2000 years but later on i want to search beyond that. We are surrounded by cycles and this particular cycle must extend to thousands of years and therefore important. Why important, well i feel that just when 2 heads of countries meet to come to some contracts, planets (demigods) in conjunction come together to sign certain contracts to balance the cosmic energies. Opposition although no similar to conjunction is also important cos like i said they are reference points to make sure that those contracts are working ok, otherwise there is the need of some adjustments. If we look now at the sky, Ju & Sa are the guest of Venus and they are doing something in that sign but they are too ready to make a last opposition to Pluto which in Scorpio (its own sign/house) is monitoring what is going on on earth. Some astrologers may say that Pluto is too far as to cause any influence on earth. My answer to that is that the president of the US may be seating in the White house in Washington surrounded by walls, and we may not be able to see him or the walls are obstructing his vision, but people miles away in California can feel his influence and power. So distance and walls do not count. It is his influence that determines many factors and issues in America & in the world as well. Regarding the orb of the outer planets, in my humble opinion their influence is stronger within the number of degrees which they move in 12 months. I have seen many cases in which pluto starts to affect (transform) people when reaching 6 degrees (2 years) of the planet in focus. The transformation is slow in the beginning but it becomes more intense when approaching a natal planet. Also in my opinion the axis of taurus/Scorpio affected by the present configuration is causing drastic changes to countries. Lets see America, traditional ruled by Gemini. The axis fall on the 12th (secret enemies, expenditure) and 6th (open enemies etc). The present administration of Bush is talking a lot about defense like if they know already about secret enemies which are a botheration to their plans. Even before taking the office, Bush said that England has to chose between Europe & the US cos otherwise the US is not going to give them anymore intelligence info. What is going on? Lets wait and see, but many top politicians can see sometimes 5 years ahead from us ordinary people. Maybe that is why a secret engine rushed to put Bush rather than Gore who does not work the same as they would like. We are living in mysterious time. <<Integrating TS planets into the jyothish frame is welcome: the present era has reached a stage when their influences can be felt. But it has to be done very very gently and carefully! Western astrologers have considered the TS planets for quite some time, BUT THEIR INTERPRETATION IS MOSTLY BS! >> I agree with you in both toughts and i do not understand how western astrologers can dare to say that Pluto is now in Sagittarius. The influence is not the same. The American president is more powerful when in his own country, how pluto can be working in Sagittarius now? The transformations are not the same, dharma is still at its lowest. regards natabara das
