piercing language of the classics, has to be interpreted according to what

is currently digestible. "Curses of Brahmanas" is harsh, yes, but have

you noticed that some people just do not "get" certain things? The

affliction of Jupiter causes this, and, even though the language of curses

you noticed that some people just do not "get" certain things? " In Spanish

speaking countries people talk a lot about curses, which they believe to come

from diverse sources. The bigger the problem or disease, the bigger the curse.

They believe that they can not get certain things because of some curse. And

many pray for Christian saints or their gods if following the religion of their

tribal family. There are curses in history and curses in the vedic literature,

in fact some of our "bad" karma comes from curses. And if great personalities

are cursed what to think of us ordinary souls? Pariksit Maharaja was cursed by

a brahman boy and he could have counteracted that curse but he saw it as a

blessing from Providence. Without that curse, perhaps we were not going to be

blessed with the Srimad Bhagavatam. It would be interesting to see the

planetary configuration of that date.

 

<<There are many possibilities, but you can get the idea if you think of what

Rahu represents, and see that Jupiter represents the exact opposite

things. The trick is, to get them to work together: logic, science, and

analysis (Rahu); joining with Satvva guna, guru traditions, and intuition

(Jupiter). This combination is thus good for astrologers, provided other

reinforcing factors exist in the chart. They will work together, if there

is a Chaya Graha Raja-yoga in this chart, namely: Jupiter ruling a kendra,

and joining Rahu in a trikona; Jupiter ruling a trikona, and joining Rahu

in a kendra. But basically, Guru-chandala yoga represents a departure

from the traditions of guru-varga, and thus one is on his own to figure

things out, if Rahu is stronger than Jupiter. If Jupiter is stronger than

Rahu, then the person will be guided correctly and come to the correct

understanding in time.>>

 

In my understanding of life "come to the correct understanding in time" is a

great achievement. Jupiter is Guru and by his grace we achieve His grace.

During the payment of a curse we suffer & we go "blind"or in "illusion". Then

comes the final confrontation, the last test in life. That test comes in

different shapes according to our conditionments, habits & culture. Hell &

Heaven are a duality that is in the sub-concious of many people, that is way we

said "we went to hell & back" Sometimes we feel to be the best & sometimes we

feel to be the worst, sometimes we feel in heaven & sometimes we feel in hell,

sometimes we feel pure & sometimes we feel inpure. Like you say Rahu & Jupiter

represent a duality and for some reason or another our gunas pull us to either

one of them. Soon we are going to see a Guru-Chandala yoga in the sky, when the

forces of heaven & hell are going to be confronted. When many illusions are

going to dissapear.

 

And it is interesting to see the celebration of Kumbha Mela happening. When the

asuras stole the kumbha with the precious elixir, the elixir falling & blessing

4 places? The asuras certainly want to take the elixir from the devas, they

always do, it is in their nature, they cannot help it. They will do anything to

get the elixir, they are not stupid. In my opinion, if they get it, they will

not understand it because it is to high for them to crack the code. It is a

kind of FM, frequence modulated, only those with a proper decoder (high

intuition) can listen & understand the message. When the astrologer developes

his/her intuition and by the grace of guru, a high intuition can be developed as

well. By guru & mean Guru. Everyone is destined to meet Guru either today or

tomorrow. Initiation is just a formality, in eternity we all are linked to

Guru, because that is the process in-built in our belief system, our 9th house,

the house of dharma, guru. Guru is always guiding even when we go down. We all

get a guru according to our understanding of eternity, divinity & bliss, sat,

cit, ananda. With those FM facilities mentioned before we can go even further to

appreciate sat cit ananda vigraha, that Truth that can give us the raya vidya,

the king of knowledge. The copyright of Raya vidya is with the Lord and he can

deliver it to those in devotion. Just like we as vedic astrologers are

learning the knowledge coming down from Parasara, & by Parasara's mercy, raya

vidya comes down from the Lord to those that He wants them to have it. He does

not tolerate copyright infringement. I always try to encourage my students to

develope their intuition, some do & some do not. What to do?

previous births. Thus Ketu opens the doors of Moksha, which one can walk

through only when the mundane karmas have been relinquished. Rahu received

the nectar, and thus continues on a path toward material involvement or

dead body of Rahu, discarded after he was beheaded. Thus, for those coming

under solar or Jupiterian conjunctions of Ketu, the last remnants of karma

are burned up in the fire of ordeal, and thus they become fit to ascend to

a higher dimension in the next lifetimes. Anyway, this was clearly the

case with Prabhupada, and you can easily see it if you use the Sg lagna for

his chart.>>

 

Robert, you was inspired when you wrote that. Saktyaaves avatar yoga? Could we

call it like that?
