Guest guest
Dear Lalia, I have something interesting to say, i was answering emails after reading them if i had enough time to do so & i came across Narasimha's times for the inauguration of the vice president and president on the other list. Here you have what i wrote: ***************** Dear Narasimha, <<At 12:02:27, he finished oath and became the President. Chief Justice congratulated him. At 12:18:38, he finished the speech. Dick Cheney's oath started at 11:56:35 and ended at 11:57:15.>> I cutted short your email to show something weird. I used on the screen of the tv a clock based on BBC TV, which is very accurate. Of all the times that you give in your email, all except two are different. Dick Cheney ended "so help me God", at 12:57:13 Bush ended "ditto", at 17:02:25 You can see i got 2 seconds less for both, I do not know why because even when Bush ended his speech with "God Bless America" , i took the time as 12:18:38 like you did. Natabara das PS i had to come back cos i found a mail from Lalia (from the other list) saying that she took the times of 11:57:12 for Dick & 12:02:25 for Bush. This means that Lalia's time is like mine's but the time for Dick is 1 second less than mine and 3 seconds less than Narasimha's. What is this? the blink of the eyes? What is this? > Very likely. I got these times by using my remote control, while watching the broadcast live on TV. I switched back and forth to a channel with the "official" network time. Two or three seconds difference probably is more accurate than previous inauguration charts, and way more accurate than most charts we all deal with.
