Hi Mu´Min, Alexander Marr, a well known German astrologer arrived at 2:43AM. LMT., based on primary directions. His article is about 30 pages long, including charts. It may be worth testing, for his reasoning is pretty good. Of course, this half hour difference may not affect your study very much - have not read it as yet. regards Mani Ps: "Oh Captain! Guest guest
Hey Mu and Mani: This USA chart business is really a hassle and a drag. What about David Solte's Nov 15 1777 12.46 pm? (so called "Scorpionic America") -- also well respected and supported by pages and pages of excellent analysis. Is it correct? Who knows!? The amazing thing is that perfectly intelligent and experienced astrologers can put their heart and soul into arguing for this or that chart and come up with totally different dates. For this reason, we have to be very careful about casually accepting any of them. It's too easy to get a string of false positives with key historical events. The best thing we could do is assemble a team to determine *beforehand* the acceptable configurations for the JFK assassination, Pearl Harbour, the Civil War, etc, etc. Until then, I think reference to any USA chart is best avoided. Any analysis of political events in the USA is better served by using unquestionable fixed dates (inauguration, new moons, etc). Whenever I see reference to such-and-such a hit in "the" USA chart, I immediately discount everything I've just read. It's totally unreliable and therefore, unpersuasive. Fortunately in your analysis Mu, you've mentioned some other charts like Bush's, and the 01/20/01 chart. Don't mind me, I just have a low tolerance for fuzzyiness. Chris PS Mu, I'll offer more substantive comments on your article shortly.
