Guest guest
Hello I'm glad we're getting somewhere on this nodes thing. It's true no rule is mentioned, and it's true that the aspects seem to be mentioned in readings type verses. I think this means "touched by" the nodes, not aspected per se, the way we take other aspects. Like my Sun, is "touched by" Rahu being as Rahu is in Leo. When a classic says "drishti", perhaps SOMETIMES it simply means "some connection". I'll leave it at that. I like what Robert brought up about trines et al. Good point. Like for example, my Rahu in the Navamsa is exactly conjunct Bernadette first lord. Our two next dasha lords are exactly conjunct in this way too. Other things too... one must not forget the Navamsa. I'm finding immense information in looking at the degrees of the Vargas, or at least the Navamsa, that's as far as I've gotten looking myself, though I programmed them all into GJ some time back. So in that way yes, if we count vargas, then the nodes will touch things. Certainly. And that I think is what is meant by "aspect" sometimes. Like if I were to describe a yoga for someone being "a hippy", I would say at some point: "...and there has to be some aspect of Nodes..." and I wouldn't mean aspect as in 3,5, 9 or 10th house aspect or any such thing, I would just mean, the nodes are somehow intrinsically connected with their chart, which to me means they are in the 1/7 axis, or 4/10, or one of them is conjunct the Moon, or Sun, or First Lord, or even other things. I know how to recognize things. It's not always a simple clear cut rule, but I know how to recognize a "nodal person" both by action externally, as well as in the chart. Ketu afflicted people move their eyes alot, as if they're hyper aware, for example. That's one thing. There's a type of shakiness to their glance. They have a hard time looking people right in the eye for very long, because they feel too much, Moi being one of them ;-) Anyway, we can all think about it. It's not the end of the world if we all don't use the nodes aspects. I don't, probably never will. Just don't buy it, but hey, I still love ya!
