Guest guest
OM Amrtesvaryai Namah!! Namaste dear Mani! i'm not sure if you are referring to Sri Ramakrsna when you say swami R-P.... as for his date of birth it is given in the "Sri Ramakrsna the Great Master" as Wednesday the 17th a few minutes before dawn..the sixth day of Phalgun in B.E. 1242 or 1757 of the Saka year or Thursday February the 18th A.D. 1836.... so it is correct....the before dawn time will give Wednesday the 17th in Indian "time" and Thursday the 18th in "British" Time. in my Sri Jagannatha Hora jyotish program it gives the time of sunrise as 6:11 AM ...so 12 minutes before would put the time at 5:59 AM...as the book says he was born 12 minutes before dawn....there was a LuniSolar Yoga called "Siddhiyoga".... Also David Frawleys' generally very accurate book has given the time as around 6:00 AM on that day...the morning of the 18th. And isn't it too bad how the various devotees look on each other's Guru's....Don't you think we should honour them all...i see good in all of them...especially between Sri. Ramakrsna and Paramahansa Yoganandaji.... hope this has been of some help....these sources are pretty original... In Amma's Divine Love, and in Her Service this little one salutes You as ever, your own self, visvanathan Om Amrtesvaryai Namah!!
