Thanks to all the members who responded. I'm back again on his behalf, this time because of an unfortunate incident that occurred on Sunday, 3nd Dec, at 12.25 p.m in San Jose, California (Pacific Time). He was travelling in a car, sitting in the passenger seat at the back, when the wheels locked suddenly, as a result of which the driver lost control of the car. The car moved some distance like a snake, and then did a U turn and crashed into a ditch. Strangely, the driver and another passenger walked out, completely unhurt, whereas my friend was badly injured and had to be taken to emergency. (one of his arms was fractured, and the other needed stiches). A couple of days back, he also developed chest pains and back pain, and is currently undergoing tests to determine if there are internal injuries. It is presently not known if there is any long term disability. [ Interestingly, 3 days before the accident (thursday), he had a dream in which he saw himself involved in a car accident as a passenger]. Now, he is contemplating legal action against the car company, and would like advice on whether to go ahead, and what the future holds.
