Job Changes

Just wondering if there are any job changes around the corner for me.

I am trying to look for a new job, and our family astrologer said

that after November 2000, I should be successful. Currently, I am

running Sun/Saturn which will end in Feb/March 2001. So far, I have

not had much luck.

You have started Sun/Saturn/Mars dasa on October 30, 2000. But Sun/Saturn/Rahu

starts on the 20th of November 2000. Jupiter and Saturn is transiting the 4th

from Ascendant, 7th from the Moon and 10th from the Sun. Rahu is transiting 8th

house from Moon. If you are aware, could you please explain some of his

thinking, as I am not finding anything happening in the next little while. At

present, there seems to be no activity concerning the job change.

 

I do notice a problem area around the corner, of which you may wish to prepare

for. The next transit of Saturn is known as Ashtam Shani, and it will be over

natal Mars, the lord of the 3rd and 10th from Ascendant, lord of 1st and 6th

from natal Moon, and 4th and 9th from the Sun.

What is Ashtam Shani? How bad is it?

The transit of Saturn through the 8th house from the natal Moon is

called Ashtam Shani. Others may differ, but I have noticed it to give bad

results.

 

The 8th house signifies longevity, it could be of a business, finances,

relationship or something else. Bankruptcies are also common in this period, but

other indicators must point to this. What exactly this transit will affect

should be analyzed and measures should be taken to minimize the effects.

 

I feel that you may wish to have your family astrologer look into this

and perhaps he can advise some remedial measures. The important thing to know is

that you have some time to prepare yourself.
