Guest guest
Om Gam Ganapataye Namo Namah! Om Amrtesvaryai Namah! Namaste Manoj!! Ammachi's little child, visvanathan, humbly salutes you! thank you very kindly for your elucidation of your previous statement, re the 5th house and it's importance in the the Guru/Shishya relationship....you speak a little cryptically however, and your answers often leave one with even more questions!!!! in this case, i can kind of understand what you are getting at but as i am as yet a kindergartner in the Jyotish sadhana (and my Sanskrit is kindergartner also...) (as i have stated elsewhere), i am not as clear as i would like to be.... For example the statement: "Because unless and untill you have the purva janama punyas "5th house" how would you have a guru "9th house" in the present life."......... Do you mean by this, "previous birth Merits" which could be seen from the 5th Bhava? in other words are you speaking of the merits which one has carried from the previous birth into this one? which may somehow be ascertained from the 5th House? this is VERY interesting, and i would love to investigate it further...can you give more guidelines as to how one might pursue this? How do you tell from looking at the 5th Bhava, what the "Purva janama punyas" are or HOW this may indicate a Guru?? is this in the rashi chart alone or in the navamsha or in a divisional chart, or perhaps all three???seeking confluence between them? it is of course much easier hindsightwise to see these relationships, as one has the charts of Guru and Shishya, not to mention the time of meeting, to compare, and so on... if this requires too much detail for writing, (i notice your characteristic terseness!) ...perhaps you could refer me to an appropriate source? thanking you again for your comments, mysterious as they may seem to be at first!! In the Divine Mother's Love and in Her Service, i salute you as ever, Your Own Self, visvanathan Om Amrtesvaryai Namah
Guest guest
Dear Visvanathan, I shall definitely answer your questions. Let me get back to work. I am proceeding on a visit to Vaishno Devi, the holy shrine of Ma up the hills in Jammu and Kashmir. I hope to be back by Tuesday or Wednesday. And then, I shall try to answer your queries. But you are on the right track. with best regards, Manoj >"visvanathan " <kasi_visvanath >gjlist >gjlist >[gjlist] Purva Janama Punyas and the 5th Bhava >Thu, 14 Dec 2000 21:30:08 -0000 > >Om Gam Ganapataye Namo Namah! >Om Amrtesvaryai Namah! > >Namaste Manoj!! > > Ammachi's little child, visvanathan, humbly salutes you! > > thank you very kindly for your elucidation of your previous >statement, re the 5th house and it's importance in the the >Guru/Shishya relationship....you speak a little cryptically however, >and your answers often leave one with even more questions!!!! > in this case, i can kind of understand what you are getting at but >as i am as yet a kindergartner in the Jyotish sadhana (and my Sanskrit >is kindergartner also...)
