Guest guest
Om Amrtesvaryai Namah! Namaste Bonnie!!!(and list members!) thank you for your kind review of my attempts re finding correspondances with one's Guru in one's chart... on the GJlist....i was actually trying to stimulate some "conversation" around the issue, but it seems like trying to wake the dead....the one comment i did get other than yours, was from Manoj Pathak(?) who as you probly read said that one's Guru could be found from the 5th Bhava of Mantra Diksha.... That one works for my case too, as i stated on the list...Ammachi's Natal Moon falls in my 5th House (Taurus) in the rashi chart, and in the navamsha chart, Amma's lagna stands in Taurus, and Virgo would be the 5th house, which is ruled by Mercury, Amma's atmakaraka planet...wherein lie Her Natal Sun and Mercury in Her rasi chart...so even thru this method one can see the connections if one tries....it's a lot of fun actually to see these connections and to look for them...it's a bit like a puzzle.... Also interestingly enough, this 5th house of mine just happens to be Taurus, wherein are just now, Sani and Guru, playing about....aspecting my natal sun and generally causing havoc.....ah yesssss....interesting times..... it is best to see all this as Guru Prasad i suppose....or Prasad from the Beloved Deity.... once again thankyou for your kind encouragement, because, dear sister, you are one of the few who even seem interested.... Even when Das Goravani posts Amma's birth data and suggests that here is an interesting chart to study and comment upon, what do we get.... a deafening silence from the "class".......are we afraid to make comments or? just not interested in Mahatmas? or just not interested in Spirit? or are we just powertripping with our Jyotish knowledge Or? i would have loved to see some comments about Her chart to get some "outside" interpretations from people who may not have met Her.... But....the members seem more interested in pursuing their own private goals....it's actually a little discouraging to see so little interaction in this department, considering that the Jyotishi is supposed to utterly rely upon his Beloved Deity....as the Beloved Deity is the best of all remedies...and the Guru represents that Deity to the aspirant.....so one would think that the time of meeting the Guru would be very important in people's lives...in my case i remember the exact day (and time!)...June 2, 1995....(although it is because i had to look it up for my researches it is true!!....i did know it was the first week in June or last in May...of 1995....but a quick calendar check confirmed the exact day as it was a retreat and they always start on a Friday....) Of course perhaps many of the list members don't have "Gurus" like my Amma, or if they do, they feel too reticent to discuss such "personal" details on such a list....For me however, the aim is not to pry into people's "personal" private spiritual lives so much as to suggest that they might find such studies fruitful....it may deepen an already wonderful connection one has with one's Guru....it may show you just how that Guru appears to be related to you and what you may be here to learn from the Guru...so it's very worthwhile to compare the Guru's chart with your own...or one could even compare a "prospective" Guru with one's own chart....seeking complementarity or connection, a certain indefinable something that says: "here's your connection with the Divine"....it may not show in everyone's charts, but i'd be interested to see how often it does...in all the Amma devotees i know around here, such confluences, and connections appear very obvious, between Amma and Her children, and even between the "children" and each other. i hope this may have been of interest to you.... and again thank you for your kind words.... In Amma's Divine Love, and in Her Service, i salute You, Who art Her Beloved Daughter, bowing again and again, humbly removing the dust from Your Blue Lotus Feet, O Devi!! as ever, Your own Self, visvanathan Om Amrtesvaryai Namah!
