Guest guest
There are good reasons most don't speak, but they are listening. Remember, not everyone agrees with our choice of Guru, so the more we rub in our devotion publicly, the more we appear to some as really having been duped badly, more and more so. Guru means "heavy with knowledge, the teacher", and the higher education is the 9th house. 5th is 9th from the 9th, so it gets connection. Many do not have time even to type. God bless them. Those of us who do are blessed in that way. It's our job to teach and entertain. So be it. Ammachi has Saturn, the Yoga Karaka, exalted in the first. This is intense in terms of being an old soul, so to speak. Very controlled, very much into the final bottom line. Exalted Moon in the 8th- peaceful around mysticism and difficult or occult matters, where most are not comfortable. Jupiter in the 9th, teacher. Mars/Venus conjunct in 11th in Leo, strongly seeks love and affection. Sun/Merc conjunct in Virgo in 12th, makes one appear and think in girlish/pure ways, detail oriented, writer, speaker. It all combines to make Her who She is. There are 4 planets in this chart placed in intense situation, and in my opinion, all of them are. This is a very special chart. She is being tossed by extremely strong planetary forces. It's no wonder to me she is special. That's why I suggested to discuss the chart. It has alot of strong and clear placements. This is of course very brief. One more thing, people with Mars/Venus conjunct in Leo in 11 usually need to take strongly to some mind and sense control practice lest their lust run wild with them. It's a strongly materialistic/lust placement, that runs completely contrary to having Sun/Merc in Virgo 12 as she does, and Saturn in Lagna, but it does compliment Moon in Taurus in 8 somewhat. It's a split chart. Pulled in two. I can relate somewhat with Venus is Aries rising, but Moon with Ketu in 11th, and Jupiter in 9th in Sagittarius. Being pulled by God and Lust is difficult as the two are not compatible. Krishna makes that pretty darn clear in the Gita. So such forces, when felt, tend to make great yogis, as they cannot go the one way, their conscience won't let them, yet the struggle is great, so they get into very strong practice, strong commitment, to the path, so as not to wavor, but holding that other energy back, can be hard. This is the plight of the soul. By the way, I do not have to fake devotion to anyone. I discuss this chart as any other humans chart. Please forgive me for not extending artificial devotional statements. You are not expected by me to do that for my Gurus in return. Thanks. That does not mean anything outside of Peace. Peace I offer, always. Devotion to Guru is private. We cannot expect others to automatically share our sentiments and love. And that's OK, and a part of the Great Hindu way. Hi Das, I am interested in what you are saying because I have saturn lord of 9th exalted in 5th with venus lord of fifth in libra Jupiter, however is in the first, aspectin. I have strong devotional nature but not to any gurus. However I have some fascination with them. I hang around and observe the nature of the environment. I like how (they) do some activation for people or the people in the environment get a dose of group energy of devotional nature and this activate opiates in their brain. Don't get me wrong, I love it. I visited many an ashram and sat in darshan with many gurus. From the most well known to the most aspiring. Actually with Ammachi, she has venus/mars in the 11th and in leo, that is a party girl to the tee and that is what I call her event when she comes here to asutralia every year. I would'nt miss it for anything. I tell everyone I'm off to a three day party and I'm going to have a ball with good food good company excellent spiritual music and a hug and a kiss for the guru and a chat with the astrologists. My attraction to her is Durga. My ears and my heart resonate to devotional music (hindu as well as gospel, especially elvis singing gospel.) by heart expands. The 5th and the 9th connection, certainly has given me the best of teachers and teachings, in my mind anyway.. as for other aspects of my personal horoscope, weel there is a saying that you never get 100%...enough said.
