Guest guest
Hi! Here I am again. And I am sure you will all be up in arms against me! Many of you have have adopted "Indian" or better, "Sanskrit" names. Was this necessary? God made you in various places on this earth, which He made. For Him there is no holy or unholy place. Why deny one´s identity? Names have vibrations. A good name can be of help, a "bad" name be a way of suffering one´s karma - as fulfilment of the undertaken job, not as retribution. I was called "Mani" as a child, with love. Now I choose this name wherever I can. Everyone has such a name from childhood and THAT is the true vibration! Try to use that name, rather than any that a guru has given you. Christ said, "unless ye be as the little children, ye will not be able to enter into heaven!" In the last analysis, it is not our knowledge that leads to "moksha" - living in the proximity of our Father/Mother - but our love, our trust and admiration. No guru can ever teach more in this respect than what a child in its early years "knows" and experiences. The Guru´s teaching are essentially for us, when we forget our childhood, develop other views, to get us back to the divine ORIGINAL principles. A child talking to its teddy bear or the dog or cat is "IN COMMUNICATION WITH GOD"! We, grown up fools, cannot enjoy this intimate joy! Let us try to get back to our childhood! Try calling yourselves by your loving nicknames, how you were called as a child, rather than all the high-sounding, religious foreign names! At least as an experiment for 1 year! I am sure you will find that you get closer to God."Know thy Self" means "BE thy Self!" Your true Self is the child in you. All the rest is what became. Have the courage, for 1 year, to say, "That was what God made me. Now I have found Him, as He made me!" Be Dick. Harry, Tom or whatever, which your parents called you - WITH LOVE. If You were a non-loved child of your parents, choose the name which someone who loved you used, in your childhood. The adoption of hindu or sanskrit names may bring new vibrations. But this should be kept "secret". I have never revealed my true vedic name, it is not "Mani"! The true vedic name is a bond with the Supreme Deity, a very personal matter, a "hotline" used only when performing sacrifices - or as introduction to great souls, who will respect the secrecy. With respect to all opinions, Mani
