Guest guest
Namaste Natabara and Listmembers, Unfortunately, academic anthropological inquiry relating to the interpretation of artifacts found at the Sarasvati port, have thus far been catalogued according to ethnocentric and gender bias, eg hundreds of terra cotta images of the mother goddess, at least one found in every home, were immediately assigned to the 'mundane'. An image of a male in yogic pose, with what appears to be an antlered headpiece ( or mercury symbol?), seated on a sacrificial stone and surrounded by the seven sisters of the plieades, draws total silence!!!. I have no wish to pursue this thread, not that it is off topic, quite the contrary, it has everything to do with Vedic Astrology, but the points to be raised are so alien to some, that hostility may be the only outcome. Kind Regards, Ann.
