Guest guest
Namaste Listmembers, As you are probably aware, I am not a card carrying member of any organized religion. I do however have deep faith in God. I believe with all my heart that ONLY GOD CAN CREATE. Humans are capable of manipulating God given energies with intent or ignorance for good or evil.(Just thought I needed to make myself clear at the outset where I stand). I have probably 'discovered' what everybody else already knows. Understandable as I live in an isolated region without access to libraries or gurus. Australia is a harsh country, environmentally and socially. As a woman, I am 'coming from' a misogynist upbringing that has forced me not only to survive but question how we as humankind historically came to this point. O.K...In a nutshell The Sarasvati Empire was the first great sophisticated civilization and centre of philosophical thought. In her 'prime' the dominant belief system was matrifocal, that is, the male 'creative' force could only be realised through the female.Secret,'sacred' sexual tantric practices and male sacrifice had logical reasoning if taken from the premise that 'man is capable of co-creating with God'. The idea of Hubris probably formed over the centuries as mother nature refused to play the game...who of us know what such ignorant meddling with the forces brought about?. As with Christianity, pagan festival days were co-opted and redefined. Modifying or changing belief systems need to be handled cautiously; what better place to start than revilling women and controlling her sexuality?. All of the information is still there, living and breathing, but we are at an impasse. What use is such information when it is greedily practiced to dominate and control?. OM TAT SAT Ann.
