So the Yogananda data is correct in your version of Das' program?

In my case, i was questioning only the time zone, which in my

program comes out as 0:00, the same as GMT, and results in the lagna

movingto Libra....the program is Goravani Jyotish 2.22.

Perhaps you have a different, possibly newer version? my copy of

Das' program came with "Beneath a Vedic Sky"...William Levacy's

book...and i know it's from around 94 or 95, because Das in the

accompanying "Big Book" is talking about the "coming"(at the time!)

Jupiter and Saturn "conjunction" in Aries...and at the time was

worried about the possibilities of a Third World War, since the last

time they were in that particular alignment was 60 years ago in the

1940's. i copied and pasted a portion of his article in his "Big

Book" for you to see.

it also explains the Yogananda Jupiter/Saturn return, because

Paramahansaji was around 60 when He entered into Mahasamadhi....read

THE 60 YEAR REPEATING PLANETARY CYCLE

The planets, Saturn, Jupiter etc., move through the constellations

which form the Zodiac in the sky at different rates. Saturn traverses

one sign every two and a half years, whereas Jupiter moves through

about one sign per year. The Sun moves through one sign per month,

etc. Saturn ends up back around at the same place in the 12 signs of

the zodiac about every 29 years. However, because the planets move at

different rates, they don't always line up the same. There is however

a 60 year cycle which deserves mention.

Every 60 years roughly, most of the planets end up in the same

relationship with each other as they shared 60 years earlier. That

is, Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, the Sun, Venus and Mercury will all be in

the same signs of the Zodiac that they were in roughly 60 years

earlier in history.

Does this help explain why those two planets were in "return"

positions as compared to Yoganandaji's natal chart?....
