Vesco, regarding the source about the breathing as omens i got it from a book

that i lost many years ago and i do not even remember its name. I remember

reading that astrologers are suppose after early bath, meditation and puja to

the navagraha, to study their own breath. The omens for the day can be read

according to the length of the breathing counted in fingers and depending on the

side of the nostril. When both nostrils are working at the same time we are not

suppose to do anything until it changes to either nostril, which happens every 2

hours or so. Also, for the signing of important contracts, every partner

involved has to have the same nostril working and this can be controlled by

lying on the floor with a cushion under the armpit in order to change the

breathing from one nostril to another. Other omens can be seen by observing

people walking around, for example a positive omen is to see a nice lady walking

with a nice dress carrying a basket of flowers or fruit, if the basket is empty,

the omen is not good, etc. If you are attracted to study omens try to get books

from India about it. American natives still use omens in their daily lives and

i think that omens are part of our survival. The study of omens help us to

cultivate our intuition which is very necessary for astrologers. The greater

our intuition the better our predictions. The right nostril is hot because it

is connected to the Sun and to the rational part of our brain. The left nostril

is cold because it is connected to the Moon and to the intuitive part of our

brain. It is advised not to eat while the left nostril is working as it will

stop our digestion. You can observe that great inspiration comes when the left

nostril is working.

Regarding the pilgrimage in Europe. There is the belief that those centres of

pilgrimage were built over more ancient places and people just renovated the

rituals. Before Christianism we had a Celtic culture in Europe and in America

we had from the Sioux, Aztecs, Mayas, Mixtecos, Zapotecos, Chichimecos,

Tarascos, Totelcas, Olmecas, Tarahumaras, Aymaras to the Incas and more. All

practising religions which were connected to nature, excepting the times when

rakshasas used to take over their government and practised human sacrifice. In

Mesopotamia and in India there was also a similar belief. Lord Krishna

convinced His people no to worship Indra (Uranus) and worship instead Govardhana

Hill, and the Aztec used to worship Indra as well under the name of Tlaloc.

Our own history is tampered with distortions and we have to dig the proper

information. We know that the Crusades were very active and at that time there

were many secret societies keeping secret knowledge. A book that is good to

read about this info is Rosslyn by Tim Wallace Murphy and Marilyn Hopkins.

According to that book, in Santiago de Compostella they had a Moon oracle and

the Raven was its symbol and it was the first place to visit. Next was Notre

dame de Dalbade at Toulouse, having a peacock as a symbol and it is ruled by

Mercury. The Catedral at Orleans is ruled by Venus and it was represented by

The Knight/the Warrior. next was the Cathedral at Chartres, ruled by the Sun

and a swan was its symbol. Notre Dame (Our Lady) de Paris is ruled by Mars and

a pelican is its symbol. Next it is the Cathedral at Amiens, ruled by Jupiter

and the eagle is the symbol. The last place of the pilgrimage was Rosslyn

Chapel, represented by Saturn and the father (a degree among Freemasons) was its

symbol.

I do not know why those places were connected to the 7 chakras in that order

with those ruling planets. i think that they took into consideration the order

of the planets from the fastest in motion to the slowest. Practitioners of

alternative therapies in the West have also their own belief in the order of the

planets ruling the chakras, they follow the colours of the rainbow from red to

violet connected to the muladhara to the highest. I prefer the view of

Bhattacharya of the order of the planets ruling the chakras, and this can be

read in his book Gem Therapy. According to Bhattacharya, we follow the order of

the planets by following the days of the week. Starting with Wednesday for

Mercury ruling the highest chakra we follow down to the lowest chakra

(Muladhara) ruled by Tuesday and Mars. Please notice that

this order also follows the colors of the rainbow but starting with Green on top

to yellow at the Muladhara.

<<. I've been struggling with trying to see

a relationship between the British islands (+Ireland) and the continent.

And also about the role of pilgrimage in the European Christian tradition>>

Please share with us your findings. I have read that pilgrimage was taken in

different ways by people. Some people used pilgrimage as going in holidays but

others were very serious about it. Among the natives of the American Continent

we also find pilgimage among their cultures and there are thousands of sacred

places to visit. I would say that every pyramid was a sacred place to visit and

in Mexico alone there are more than 3,000 of them. We know now that there was a

super civilization 12,500 years ago and our present history is more or less

clear for the past 3,000 years, so we have a gap of some 10,000 years. What

happen to our memory?, what happen to our books?

I hope that this lines are helpful.

yours, Natabara Das
