The fifth house can have a stain on it in the case of Shrila Prabhupada because the manifestation of his spiritual life did have some delay and limitation, so there has to be something to indicate that. One's spiritual life can exist in spite of some affliction to the fifth, however, the karaka is more of a sine qua non, and the karaka afflicted by the nodes in a house like the eighth rules out any manifestation of spiritual life such as Shrila Prabhupada had. I think that the contrast here is rather strong and the conclusion rather definite. Speaking about being personal or impersonal, limited personality or not, ect., is hard to pin down, too, because a lot of that is relative. But pinning something down like having just one older sister or being a world-wide author or not is different. The Capricorn chart, with the lord of the house of books in the eighth with the nodes, just could not have produced karma in relation to books as Shrila Prabhupada enjoyed. Other things can be explained from both charts, but these points are sticklers. Dharmapada Dasa
Guest guest
Hello In reference to the 5th lord of Srila's chart using Sag rising. It is in a chandramangala yoga. This supercedes the fact that it is placed in a bad house. Gives it a positive spin. Notice the 5th lord is aspected by benefic moon? Hence the condition of the 5th lord is in fair. Now this is the clincher. The 5th house is strong being aspected by Jupiter the Karaka of 5th & lord of 1st & 4th. We're talkin Raj Yogas on 5th. If you look at the Navamsa the 5th lord is in an angle & aspects the 1st house. It think we have to Weigh these things & look a bit deeper. It all seems to fit. Trouble with the 5th is not a good argument for Cap rising as far as I'm concerned. But what do you think? I am small & my opinion means nothing! Krsna lifts a mountain w/one hand. =] With Regards manvantara - dean <0108 <gjlist > Thursday, October 26, 2000 9:07 AM [gjlist] Prabhupada's Chart > > > > Dear Dharmapadaji > > When I first heard about the Capricorn lagna (originally I heard about > this > > dispute from Nalini) I also thought it was wrong .
