Guest guest
I think worrying about altitude is splitting hairs. The difference from the center of the earth to the general surface is huge, thousands of miles, whereas the relative altitudes of different cities in variance from sea level is at best one mile to 2 for most cities. No big deal, when compared for the general need for parallax correction. The altitude thing affects the angle to the moon very slightly. Sure, it's real, not denying that at all, but as for getting into it, for me, adding the fields, tracking the data, adding the calculation, and so on, is not something I'm going to worry about personally, in Goravani Jyotish. Too many much more imprortant things to deal with, in my opinion. Just my opinion, and my time. I'm not sure what you wanted exlained about parallax. It's basically from sea level. I think you know what it is otherwise- the angle to the moon and beyond to the stars as seen from the city of birth, on the surface, as opposed to from the center of the earth. With geocentric (earth's center) all persons born at the same moment on earth would have the same exact dashas. With PC in action, their dashas would vary. That alone answers this question for me.
