i have been in touch with a cyber friend from my own

city in hyderabad.he is only 16 years old and has the

wisdom of a sage!!he always baffles me with his

spiritual and philosophical chat.i didn't believe at

first that he was 16, until i came to know from a

common friend that he is a student of class 11.he

seems depressed and sad most of the time.when i asked

for his birth data, it read thus..........

Dear Rhoda,

No expert, but I took a look at the chart an it's very interesting. Mars,

Jup, and Sun in it's own. Moon and Saturn exalted and debilitated Venus.

With my novice eyes, I see Mars/ Ketu in 1st in Scorpio opposite Moon/ Rahu

in Taurus in 7th. Then you have Sun/Merc conjunction in 10th. These look

like angry combos to me not depressive ones. It's been said that depression

is anger turned inwards. In any case, I think it would disturb the mind

quite a bit.

Also with so many malefics in quadrants that can't be good either excepting

the moon in seventh, but then again it's waning, so not really benefic

either.

Would this be a Sarpa yoga i.e. uncontrolled passions?

Just my 2 cents and very open to correction from the more experienced :-)

Dear Rhoda,

Your friend's spiritual and philosophical chat should be no mystery. The 5th is

the house of the mind (intelligence, inclinations of the mind etc), and the 2nd

is the house of speech.

Your friend has 5th lord Jupiter (planet of religion/philosophy), occupying own

sign in 2nd house. It would be surprising if he wasn't spiritually inclined with

Hey man the person looks more like a sufferer and frustrated than what you call

spiritual. moon exactly in the clutches of rahu with Mars aspecting helplessly

due to ketu joining , he looks more as a recluse. However the current star mars

due to his occupation of mercury star an occupant of 9th house, give him

interest in spiritual readings. Jupiter is supporting to none i.e. moon or Sun

only half aspect due to exchange of Sun with Mercury. The person must recite

Gayantri Mantra daily 4x108 times daily. He already crossed a period of

Hello!

This is just off the cuff. I didn't look at the Moon or Navamsa Chart as I

lost the birth data. This interpretation is based on where others said the

planets were in the Rasi.

Rahu conjunct moon is supposed to do strange & expansive things to the mind.

The tighter the conjunction the more extreme. Moon is the lord of the 9th

(Religion) & in the 7th is raja yoga. Furthermore aspecting the 1st (Self).

Ketu (Moksha Karaka) in the 1st & again Psychic powers indicated. Mercury is

not in a friendly sign in the 10th & if Combust w/Sun causes further mental

stress.

What is to be done? Wish I had more time. Anyone else want to take a shot?

Firstly I cannot believe anybody could be so stupid as to tell a 16 year old

boy he was not only gay but was going to die at 27 years of age. This

reinforces my belief that for every decent astrologer in India there is 50

dickheads sprouting this type of nonsense into the head of a young and

impressionable boy. Is it any wonder he is worried, according to the clown

who read his chart he has only 11 years to live!

This is a brilliant and outstanding horoscope in many ways with Mars the

lagna lord in the lagna in conjunction with Uranus making him a powerful and

original thinker. Ascendant cusp and Ketu fall in the nakshatra of

Anuradhna, belonging to Saturn and Saturn is exalted in the 12th house of

the afterlife making him very interested in spiritual matters. Mars the

lagna lord falls in the nakshatra of Jyesta belonging to Mercury who is in

the 10th house with 10th lord Sun who is in his own sign and dig bala,

wonderful combination.

Sun is birth yogi planet in the 10th house in conjunction with the 8th lord

of profound thinking, research, legacy and the 11th lord of gain, friends

and associates. Both 10th and 11th lord are in the 10th house in trine to

Jupiter. This boy also has Lakshmi yoga with lagna lord forming Ruchaka

Mahparusha raja yoga in the lagna, 9th lord Moon exalted in a Kendra and Sun

as 10th lord in the 10th house in his own sign. This Moon is in mutual

feminine signs, but as the Moon as karaka of females is in the 7th house in

trine to Venus he should like women. Even if he was a homosexual, thats his

private business anyway. It is totally stupid to put any ideas about

suppossed sexual preference into the head of a young person anyway. From the

Moon lagna Venus is in the 5th house and 9th and 10th lord Saturn in exalted

in the 6th house of work and service. This is a wonderful horoscope with

tremendous potential.

At present Saturn as 3rd lord of mental outlook and 4th lord of domestic

lord of luck. This Saturn is in bad aspect to nearly all of his planets and

Venus as the planet of happiness is in transit over his natal Saturn in the

12th house of loss. Is it any wonder he is not happy, this combined with

some loose tongued dickhead telling he is going to die before he hits thirty

and is a shirtlifter to boot! well I would be worried too..........

Just a few comments to add to the other remarks

Anuradha Nakshatra is rarely happy because it always perceives that the

grass is greener on the other side of the fence .I would carefully explain

to this person that in life most situations have their pros and cons and

not to dwell on the current negatives .The Sun is weak because of extreme

old age so his conception of himself is weak .He will need a lot of

encouragement . Rahu close to the Moon will give intense mental activity

..The 3rd and 4th Lord in the 12th is not good as it may make it difficult

to find motivation and happiness . However strong Jupiter and exalted

planet in the 12th are good for spiritual life .

I would get him Bhaktivedanta Swami's Bhagavad Gita .It's a beautiful

philosophical work that opens the soul.The higher side of Scorpio which is

often considered the worst sign is that it is brahminical and has a

willingness to transform itself.

*Very correct , but we are to find out what are the astrological reasons that

this boy comes in the contact of such a foolish astrologer.

* Loook at the sublord also it is Rahu who is ready to grasp the Moon due to

its backward motion, however it cannot because of Mars aspect from the Lagna ,

but anyway things are confused only due to this , boy is very sensitive,

emotional, becomes overconfident as well as depressed due to this.Apply degree

wise it is Mars Rahu Moon combination a bitter enemey of Mars and Moon lying in

between. Case would be different if the combination would have been Moon Mars

Rahu or Mars Moon Rahu. Mars no doubt is giving the learning appitude ,lot of

energy, and even age but Rahu a star of illusion is giving him much proud, on

the boy in religious matters and study in them. Note that 10th is for the work

and 9th is for the religion ,higher education , his interest must begin for all

the higher studies with the dawn of Mars period on the boy.The interest further

increase due to frustration given by Rahu antardasha, who confused this boy and

also make him meet some foolish astrologers.Mars in the star of Mercury make the

Lagan lord a joint significator of Lagan ,6th and 8th house, the placement of

Mercury in the 9th cusp 10th rashi make it a Puranaaue case but its 8th lordship

make it a middle age case , in no case boy is short age.
