Predominating Tamas guna is the point. What are the planets giving Tamas guna and under what tatwa this can be expected ? There effect on the ascendant determines the basic disposition of the individual. For example Hitler's ascendnat lord is exactly conjunct Mars, aspected closely by Saturn, and Ketu.
