I assume you meant to refer to the "Yom Kippur war" (1973) started on Yom Kippur by Israel's neighbours, all by surprise, just as transit Uranus hit Israel's natal Ascendant, emerging from the 12th house, and transit Mars Rx. was right on fixed star "Hamal" (Head of the Ram?). And BTW, by Israeli conventions , Joseph Liberman isn't considered an "orthodox jew". He seems more like a secular jew who publicly demonstrates an "affectionate attitude" towards jewish rituals.
