Dear Inder Jit Sahni:

Thank you for your detailed exposition of your application of the KP

method. I only know a little about KP but I was very interested to learn

your logic in this case.

Generally, I avoid use of 3rd level dashas since it is often hard to be

confident of their precision given issues of ayanamsha, parallax correction

and so forth. I chose Venus-Saturn as the most likely periods for Sunil's

marriage because bhuktie lord Saturn is 7L and it is aspected by Venus.

Venus as dasha lord was likely because of its natural karaka status and it

rules navamsha, as Libra rises. Also, in navamsha, Venus and Rahu are in

Libra.

I thought 2006 was a more likely year for marriage because of transit

influences. DL2 Saturn transits Leo at that time and this opposes 7L and

conjuncts Venus. Rahu can often bring marriage and in this chart it

definitely would have a hand to play since it rises in navamsha conj.

Venus. It moves into Aquarius in 2006 and thus it is trine Libra. This

will activate DL Venus in rashi and also the all important Libra in

navamsha. Furthermore, Jupiter is in Libra until Oct 2006 and its trine

aspect activates 7L/DL2 Saturn.

>Dear Christopher Kevill,

>I used Krishnamurty ayanasha and Placidus Cusp Method , by this Saturn

moves in the 7th Cusp , in principal Moon being in the star of Saturn is

main significator of 7th house, Venus due to aspect of Saturn and Saturn

due to its placement in the 7th are other significator of 7th house. Venus

in cusp chart is in the 2nd Cusp and Rahu is in the eleventh.

In considering marriage during bhuktie of 7L in the placius 7H, does one

place more importance in Nk lord of Saturn (Mars) or on planets that have

Saturn as Nk lord?

>No planet is in the star of Rahu hence Rahu is to give his own results

which are of Mercury due to sign placement and of Mars due to Nakshatra

placement. As marriage means addition of a member in your family of

opposite sex who is friendly to you 2nd 7th and 11th are to be considered

for marriage otherwise 7th 5th 8th 11th involved will give you sex, love

affair but not marriage.

Interesting difference.

>The last chance he missed the bus was May to August 1996 when Venus Moon

Rahu operated nearest time when he can ride will be Venus Rahu Moon the

latest time is by Venus Saturn Rahu, with the simple principle that what is

held or blocked by Saturn is given by Saturn , he do not let other stars do

his duty because he is the eldest. Time calculation is yet the 2nd step in

these type of cases , the 1st decision is if the happening is promised or not.

I have heard that this is one of the strengths of KP: the ability to

discern delay of marriage and denial of marriage. A friend of mine who

studies KP told me if Venus and 7L star lord fell in 6th or 12th house,

then marriage could well be denied. Similarly, if star lord of Venus and 7L

ruled 6/12 but did not occupy them, then married could also be denied. I

think there is some merit to this rule, but I don't have enough charts on

hand of unmarried people to be sure. Could you clarify this principle for me?

>The answer is in affirmative yes. How, I will explain later but if you

will write down that how you conclude the same which I.

regards,

Christopher
