The British TV (only 5 channels) has been shown interesting documentals in

the last few months and i feel that some of them are worth of mention to

astrologers.

 

Here you will find the details of one of those programes which is also linked

to a book. If you want further information, you can browse that book. The

programes are so well done that you feel like being in those magical places

when you see them in the screen. We are expanding our knowledge of the

universe, oceans, body, history and the fact that we have now vedic astrology

in the West, means that our awareness is expanding very fast.

 

As astrologers we are suppose to be well informed about as many branches of

knowledge as possible. One of my teachers told me to read the books of

Sherlock Holmes to follow the detective mind and use it in the reading of

horoscopes. i feel that the knowledge of super civilizations that are 12 000

years old is a mind opening subject which should be known in school texts,

but maybe we will see that in 100 years from now because our politicians

decide for us what we should know and what we should ignore, and they do not

want to lose control on us.

 

Ancient Vedic Civilization?

 

'The Guinness Book of Records' says that the largest religious structure in

the world is Angkor Wat (City Temple), enclosing 402 acres or 162.6 ha in

Kampuchea, south-east Asia. It was built to Vishnu by the Khmer King

Suryavarman II between 1113-50 AD. The population was 80 000 before it was

abandoned in 1432. The whole complex has 72 main temples and the building

started circa AD 900.

 

Angkor Thom temple's southern entrance gate, has huge sculptures describing

on either side 54 devas (demigods) and 54 asuras (demons) churning the ocean

of milk. This is a representation of the vedic descriptions of the joint

enterprise between devas and asuras to churn the ocean of milk to extract the

nectar of immortality.

 

The story goes something like this:

 

After the devas and the asuras extracted the nectar of immortality, Vishnu

told them to stand in opposite sides in order to share the nectar between all

of them. Vishnu started to give the nectar to the demigods without intending

to give it to the demons, because who wants demons to be immortal? However,

Rahu, a big demon, jumped into the side of the devas and when Vishnu was

giving him some drops of the nectar, the Sun and the Moon (Surya deva and

Chandra deva), warned Vishnu of the situation. Vishnu saw the situation and

immediately cut-off Rahu's head. However, because the nectar had made the

head immortal, Vishnu put it high in the universe below the Pole Star. Since

then Rahu's head became the constellation of Draco.

 

It is nice to hear that a king built such a complex to celebrate that vedic

story. It is interesting to see that 54 devas + 54 asuras = 108 which is a

sacred number among Hindus, Shivaists, Budhists, Vaisnavas and Christians

(108 beads in their rosary). Also, we have 72 temples at Angkor. The

numbers 54, 72 and 108 are important because they are related to the

precession of the equinox which needs 72 years to cross one degree of the

zodiac in a backward movement, just like Rahu needs to go vakra (retrograde)

across the zodiac in 18.6 years. [18x3=54; 18x4=72; 18x6=108]

 

According to the book 'Heaven's Mirror' 'Quest for the Lost Civilization' by

Graham Hancock and Santha Faiia, the 72 temples at Angkor were built to

represent on earth, the main stars in the constellation of Draco as they were

exactly above Angkor on 10,500 BC

 

The famous Sphinx at Giza is looking directly at the Sun rising with the

constellation of Leo on the autumn equinox of September 1, 10,500 BC. And

the 3 pyramids at Giza match the 3 main stars in the belt of Orion in the

same year. The King's southern shaft of the main pyramid points at Orion on

the same date. Many geologists are confirming that the water erosion shown

by the Sphinx indicates that it was built some 12,000 years ago before the

present arid environment.

 

Then the quoted book mentions Yonaguni, a Japanese island. In 1997, Graham

Hancock invited John Anthony West (Egyptologist) and Robert Schock (Geologist

of Boston University) to explore underwater a pyramid found recently just

outside Yonaguni.

 

They say that if the walls of this submerged pyramid are man made,

civilization is older than we taught. Masaaki Kimura, Marine Biologist at

the Okinawa University says that they are man made. Masaaki has been

studying the building for more than 6 years and more than 200 dives.

Yonaguni has the same base as the great pyramid at Giza.

 

We know that Earth has at present an inclination of 23°27 and that the

maximum inclination can go as far as 24°30. We know as well that these

inclination changes at the rate of 40" of arc in 100 years, indicating that

the Tropic of Cancer was above the Yonaguini pyramid 9,000 years ago, because

this place is at 24°27 LN. This means that the Yonaguni pyramid was built on

dried land between 9,900 and 9,000 years ago (at least).

 

In Pohnpei, an island in Micronesia (Pacific Ocean), there is a 1000 year old

temple, pointing North-South-East-West, which the local natives say it was

built because of a submerged temple nearby. Graham explored (as shown on

Channel 4 TV in England last month) this submerged complex and found 2 towers

40 feet tall.

 

Graham says that Pohnpei at is 54° distance from Cambodia. Easter Islands

are 144° from Angkor and Giza is at 72° from Angkor. Wait one minute, I was

told in school that my ancestors crossed the Strait of Berig in Alaska 12,000

years ago from Russia and that they were stupid men driven by supertition.

Graham says about the builders of the structures at Easter islands "they were

not stupid", they knew what they were doing. The distances are mathematical

calculated and there is not chance in their construction.

 

Graham also points out that the mysterious place of Tiahuanaco in Peru has a

complex, which indicates with its corners, the sunrise and sunset at the

spring equinox in an approximated degree. With modern computers it is

possible to calculate that such corners indicated the exact sunrise and

sunset on the year 10,500 BC

 

So what is going on? We now have the evidence of a super human civilization

that built a sophisticated network of astronomical-astrological observatories

at strategic places on earth and as old as 10 500 BC when the precession was

entering the sign of Leo.

 

If we take the Lahiri's ayanamsa as a rule, we know that the precession

entered the sign of Pisces in the year 285 AD. We know that the precession

moves backwards at the rate of one degree in 72 years or one sign in 2,160

years. This means that if we calculate a constant rate of precession, we

find that on the year 10,515 the precession entered the sign of Leo. This

figure is very close to the 10,500 BC date given by Graham's calculations

about the orientation of the pyramids at Giza, the Sphinx, Angkor and

Tiahuanaco.

 

Geologist are saying that there is evidence that around the 11th, 12th or

13th millenium BC, the sea levels rose 100 meters within days. And it is

still rising. Archeologists are at present exploring the now submerged City

of Dwarka, built by Krishna before the beginning of this Kali Yuga.

 

Professor Chandra Wickramasinhe, Astrophysicist, from Cardiff university,

says that earth collided with a comet some 13, 000 years ago. It seems that

something terrible happen around the entry of the precession in Leo.

 

It is obvious that the vedas are right when they say that a vedic

civilization existed before this Kali Yuga, which started on 3,102 BC. This

means that 7000 years before Kali Yuga started there was a vedic super

civilization capable of building sophisticated observatories to monitor the

precession and the transit of the planets. Because we are living on a plane

which can be destroyed at anytime by either natural cataclysms (earthquakes,

volcanoes, tornadoes, epidemics etc) or by human mismanagement like wars and

economic collapse, the ancient sages knew how to build permanent

observatories to keep account of precession and other important studies.

 

Who knows when the temples at Angkor were built? We are given some dates as

back as AD 900, but my feeling is that Angkor was built over more ancient

bases going as far as 10,500 years BC. If Angkor was built in honor of

Vishnu, we are talking about a vedic civilization. And if this ancient vedic

civilization had the knowledge of astronomy and mathematics, then we are

talking about vedic astrology as well. In Mexico there is a place called

Cholula were we can visit what is considered to be the biggest pyramid in the

world (so far because there are rumours of a bigger one in China). The

pyramid of Cholula is very interesting because it is in reality 7 pyramids

built on top of each other across the years and at the top there is a

Catholic Church built by the Spaniards. If the Spaniards built churches

(they had that habit) on top of pyramids and if ancient cultures also built

pyramids on top of more ancient cultures, then it is logic to think of the

possibility that what we know at present regarding pyramids is just the top

of the iceberg.

 

And if the orientation of those buildings, indicates the entry of the

precession in the sign of Leo in 10,500 BC, we can see the conclusion that

the Lahiri's ayanamsa is the most accurate at present, and therefore, we are

not in Aquarius like many people want to believe. That would mean that we

are at 6°08 Pisces, in the navamsa of Aquarius.

 

The navamsa of Aquarius goes from 23°20 to 26°40 of Pisces. According to

Lahiri, on 1 January 1962, the ayanamsa was at 23°19'24" and on 1 January

1963, the ayanamsa was 23°20'11". This means that just before 1962 ended,

the precession went into the navamsa of Aquarius.

 

Because the precession moves across a navamsa in 240 years, this means that

it is going to be moving across Aquarius navamsa between 1962 and 2202 and

giving another 240 years, we find that we will be in the sign of Aquarius in

2442 AD So, I am sorry to say this to those that want to believe that we are

in Aquarius. We are still in Pisces and you are missing your homework

related to the evolution of your soul according to the age of the mystical

and religious sign of Pisces. Do your math's and calculate the proper

ayanamsa, we have to see the signs of this present time and work accordingly,

otherwise we may miss the bus.
