Guest guest
Jaya Jagannath Dear Shamin, If the pancreas is also near the liver, then it will form a part of the pada of Hasta (there are four pada in Hasta). These and similar organs will be connected with the digestion of sugars and the release of large amounts of energy for the body. I know astrology, and am trying to learn the human anatomy. Guest guest
Dear Manu You wrote <<This can be done by recitation of the Gayatri mantra (Prayer to >Savitur) which gives vitality and increases the longevity. Be sincere in the remedial >measures and this disease CAN >BE kept under check. Being a self learner of astrology have some doubts as Rhoda also pointed out , Should we recite gayatri Mantra only on Wednesdays and Thursdays ? I have a habit of reciting it everyday. One more doubt which is haunting me is that IS it necessary that mantras are chanted with full decorum ( Like sitting in the puja sthal performing puja with all the puja samagri in morning ) , When I was in Bombay i used to chant these mantras in the local train while going to office , is it OK ? In todays hectic life schedule specially in metros like Bombay it is tough to find enough time , so can we utilise our commuting time in a better way ? I just want to make it clear that reciting mantras in these ways doen't harm ?>> The way i understand "this mantra is normally communicated on Wednesday or Thursdays only" is that it is normally given (communicated) on those days. It does not mean that the Mantra should be chanted only on those days. Also, it said "normally" but rules can be elastic according to time and circumstances. I was given the Gayatri Mantra on a Tuesday by a lady priestess to Mother Durga, because it happens that i went to visit on that day and it was my only day in London. Later on i was given the Gayatri mantra (Vaisnava version) on a Saturday and with a beautifull fire (yagya) ceremony because of circumstances. Both mantras have being working wonderfully since then. The Gayatri mantra is supposed to be recited every day 3 times, at sunrise, noon and sunset, but we are supposed to take into consideration time and circumstances. There are certain rules which can become elastic according to our capacity, time, position etc. The guidance of guru is necessary. Sincerity is the most important issue in most cases. Guest guest
Jaya Jagannath Dear Natabara, Is the Vaishnava Version of the Gayatri mantra different from what is given in the Rig Veda? Kindly confirm and if so what is the difference?
