Guest guest
What is the reasoning behind 3rd from AL showing the place of death, in my chart 3rd from AL is Sagittarius which is the lagna itself with Mercury, which is a maraka and also Maheshwara for the chart, so does that make Sagittarius and Mercury killers in my chart. Thanks for your help Ravi
Guest guest
Dear Ravi, Parashara is clear about 3rd house and death(refer to BPHS).. Death is the subject of maya, and is not real Truth. Eight house refered to death is a house of transformations,so death is really a transformation, not real end of life. The true end of life is moksha related to 12.th house. Therefore, 3rd house from AL(image of the self and its maya) is a true place for looking at a death of this physical body. Planets placed in 3/8th houses from arudha lagna may be quite dangerous. Such is mercury in your case... Best wishes, Zoran Ravi Chivukula wrote: > What is the reasoning behind 3rd from AL showing the place of death, > in my chart 3rd from AL is Sagittarius which is the lagna itself with > Mercury, which is a maraka and also Maheshwara for the chart, so does > that make Sagittarius and Mercury killers in my chart. > > Thanks for your help > Ravi > > > > > gjlist-
Guest guest
I follow the logic about the 8th house (transformation death) but not sure if you explained the reason for 3rd house (action, purushartha which may also be maya since vidhata has already written on the kapaal the consequences of past deeds [chicken and egg, alert! ;-)]. How does Parashara explain it (paraphrasing is okay, I dont care about the page and verse). As far as planets in 8th as being problematical are concerned, would this apply also in the case of arudha falling in dwiswabhaava signs? Guest guest
Jaya Jagannath Dear MK, 3rd is the Pada for the 8th i.e. 8th from the 8th and will give the place of death. this is seen from Audha Lagna. Jaimini gives a lot of details about this. For example the AL of Mahatma Gandhi was in Cancer and the third from this is Virgo (Garden) with the Sun (Small firearms etc.) in it. He was assasinated while strolling in the garden with a bullet from a gun. Thus the teachings of Parasara and Jaimini are right.
