Baby's time of birth

Dear Jyotishis,

I have a personal question that I am seeking an answer. My wife and I

are expecting a baby (her first) and he is late by almost a week. The

doctor is advising to induce labour purely to avoid the waiting. What is

the astrological significance to this action? Will his time of birth be

lost forever if we allow this? Or is his tob is still going to remain

valid? What is your opinion?
