Guest guest
Dear List, Hello, if we calculate charts from the Chandra Lagna, do you find there is any value then in viewing the Navamsa chart of this Chandra Lagna based chart? Is this something looked at in Jyotish as well as the Navamsa from the Rasi Lagna based chart? Many thanks. Kindest Regards, Patrice
Guest guest
The navamsha rashi positions of planets would be the same in the rashi(lagna) oriented chart as well as the lunar chart. Perhaps you meant taking the chandra navamsha lagna as the lagna in the lunar-navamsha chart. This works, just as the karakamsha chart works and some people look at that from the rashi others from navamsha and in both sets of hands it works well. If you ask for opinions about things like this, you will probably get dozens. What is important is to try it out in your testbed of charts and see if one approach or another feels more comfortable to you and helps you get the right information (you need feedback from the nativities that form your testbed of charts for this). Try not to use only your own chart for testing astrological approaches and rules. This can be misleading often. >"Patrice Curry" <patrice.curry >gjlist >"GJList" <gjlist > >[gjlist] Charts >Sun, 23 Jul 2000 16:56:17 -0400 > >Dear List, > >Hello, if we calculate charts from the Chandra Lagna, do you find there is >any value then in viewing the Navamsa chart of this Chandra Lagna based >chart? Guest guest
Dear Manas, Deep thanks for your response. Yes, I did mean the chart you clarifyed, thank you. My question comes up as I see from my testbed of charts, from so much correct using the Chandra Lagna, I wondered if a chart calculated from the exact degree of the Moon's position, in the Rashi chart, which would then make a different Navamsa chart, is also used. Thank you also for the correct terminology to use for this. Many thanks, and kindest regards, Patrice
