Can anyone tell me something about my chart?

Dear list members,

I am very interested in my chart. My father is studying astrology, but he is

beginner. So he can't tell me much about my chart.

If someone can answer any of my questions I will be very pleased. Maybe

someone can tell me something more about my life looking at my chart.

All planets are between Ketu and Rahu as you can see. What does it mean?

What events can happen in my life because of this? Rahu and Mars in the 10th

house. Is it good? Most of planets are in the 12th house. What does it mean?

Dear Elena

Having all the planets between Rahu and Ketu is called Kala Sarpa Yoga.

Most basic text books of Vedic Astrology describe this yoga. There are

basically two types, depending on whether the planets are being "swallowed"

by Ketu, the tail of the serpent (as in your case), or by Rahu, the head of

the serpent. There has been much written about this yoga, but the chapter

by B. V. Raman in his book 'Three Hundred Important Combinations' is

interesting, as he suggests that "the yoga can be considered as defunct even

if a single planet is with Rahu or Ketu or outside the axis". He also

suggests that the yoga plays a far greater role in mundane astrology. In

your case, with Rahu-Ketu along the 4/10 axis, there could be some setbacks

to career. As far as I am aware the following folk have KSY: Harrison Ford,

Paul McCartney, Margaret Thatcher and Deepak Chopra.

Rahu and Mars together produce a very high-energy combination in the 10th

house of career, although Mars is debilitated (yet receiving Neecha Bhanga

Raja Yoga). Rahu is said to be very well-placed in the 10th house for

success, and Sun in Leo in the 11th would give strong leadership ability.

What is your line of work?

The most striking feature in your chart (to me) is the four-planet

conjunction in the 12th house, with 12th lord Mercury exalted in the 12th.

This should promise very well for spiritual growth and the pursuit of

spiritual knowledge, yoga and meditation. Lagna lord Venus is debilitated

in Virgo, yet there is Neecha Bhanga Yoga (due to Mercury's exaltation).

With Saturn, Venus and Mercury together (all friends) there are many

combinations of Raja Yoga, due to the joining of the 1st, 4th, 5th and 9th

lords - all the dharma lords in the house of enlightenment! Enjoy!
