Dusthan owner in Dusthan

Namaste all,

Just wondering what will happen if Dusthan owner occupies its

own house (swagrahi). i.e Virgo Lagna Sun in 12th and Mars in 8th . Both are

swagrahi . What kind of results will they give in thier Mahadasha's ? Due to

swagrahi they won't cause as much damage

as they should .

 

Also, is the dasha of 5th (panchemsh) or 9th (navmesh)always good ?

What if they are afflicted by Mars and Saturn . Will they start giving bad

results or their good results will be reduced .Which are the important

factors should we consider ?

 

It would be great if somebody can throw some light .

The dustan lord in other dustan is not so good according to Parashara,

eventhough the swagrahi effects will be felt. You could expect the most

postive significations of dustan concerned, however, if there are bad

aspects or avastas, or other bad indications, the bad effects will be felt

too. For dasha interpretation, there are special rules.

They are good unless afflicted, or depedning wheteher they are natural

malefics,benefics. If they are afflicted, their positive indications will be

less,

while negative more..The factors Ben is enlisting are good so far...

Please note that if dustana owner is in other dustana, it creates Veepret

Raj Yog, while it would be best that it is neecha, or weak.If strong, raj

yog effects are less. Veepret Raj Yog brings sudden rise and wealth in

the midst of calamities, such as illness, loss of dearones etc..

Dear Manu,

a dusthana lord in its own house is actually quite good, it can free the

native from difficulties and it prevents the dusthana lord from potentially

hurting other houses. If the Dustana lord is under the influence of

benefics, is himself a benefic, and in a benefic navamsa and a good

nakshatra from the Moon then it can give quite good effects in its dasa.

Planets that the dustana lord aspects or joins can suffer though. MOst

importantly if the Dusthana lord in its own house is with rahu or Ketu then

very bad drastic resutls can happen, especially if the dusthana lord in

question is a natural malefic. I have seen benefics as dustana lords in

thier own house give good even when with Rahu or KEtu provided they are

otherwise well influenced.

 

The most important thing to consider to judge if a planet will give good or

bad in its dasa is the influences upon it as Robert Kich so well put a few

days agoa when analyzing someones Jupiter and Saturn dasa.

astrology requires the careful synthesis of many factors . Nothing is all

good or all bad no more than anyone runs a period of their life where

everything runs for them or everything runs against them ..An exalted

Jupiter may make someone a hazy planner who relies and usually gets by on

his abundent fortune .

 

Mars is quite malefic for Virgo as well as being naturally malefic so

putting him in charge even when he is placed in his MT sign is not a good

move .Better for Virgos to skip their Mars Mahadasha altogether .Enter a

time warp where five seconds of your time pass

and 7 years of earth time pass .

The results of Mars mahadasha would be worse if Mars was in Cancer although

even in this case because Cancer is the 11th house the person may get some

gains through unscrupulous means .

For someone entering Mars mahadasha in the 8th in Aries without access to a

time machine the period could be a positive time to do research, to

understand esoteric mysterious knowledge to transform their lives and cut

away the useless parts of them or pick up an inheritace , to regenerate

their existence and so on . No house is all bad either .

Keeping the 8th Lord and 12th Lords in their own houses is good for the

overall tone of the chart because it keeps them away from areas where they

might do even more damage .
