Question for venerable astrologers

Both my husband and I have terrible career problems. He was just forced out

of his job, and wants to do something different; and I have *never* had a

good career, ever -- I always seem to make the wrong choice or pick the wrong

place -- I've been a stay-at-home mom for three years. I have a decent

eduation, but it doesn't seem to matter.

 

What can I look to in our charts for career advice? Anything that would help

us in finding direction?

The tenth house is usually considered the house of

career. Also the ruler of the tenth house placement

would be significant and any planets in that house.

I would just like to point out that sometimes our apparent misfortunes can

be blessings in disguise.

 

Now that your husband has been forced out of his job, perhaps this is now

the time for him to meditate on what he really wants to do, as you mentioned

that "he wants to do something different".

 

To me, being a "stay-at-home Mom" is a great blessing. Your children, and

husband, are so lucky to have you at home - surely this is a blessing for

the whole family! How many children today have this wonderful opportunity?

 

There is surely a time for everything in life, so I would look closely at

your dashas and subdashas, in addition to 10th house, 10th lord, 10th house

karakas - in rashi, navamsha and D-10, - as well as lagna and lagna lord.
