My questions are: What does Raj yoga on the 12th house mean? Also, what does Raj yoga on the 2nd and 6th houses mean? Also, if Rahu is in the 12th house in Aquarius....Is this a good position for Rahu to be in or bad? Does debilitation of a planet delay results or deny results? Guest guest Report post Posted May 1, 2000 Dear Supriti, A raj Yoga in the 12th house can be good or destructive. If it is under malefic planetary, influences, in a maleifcs rasi, if the planets are in a malefics navamsa, orif the plants are in the 3rd, 5th or 7th nakshatra from the Moon, then these can serve to destroy the yoga. If however the planets are under good planetary influences, in a benefics rasisi and navamsa, and in a benefic nakhshatra, the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th or 9th nakshatras from teh Moon the yoga will give its effect in resepct to 12th house affiars like hospitals, clinics, research, foreeign places, prisons, etc. The same rules aply for a raj yoga in the 6th, if it is solid it will give raj yoga in service areas, health, military, nature, etc. The effects will increas throught the life as it is in an upachaya, though there may be struggles along the way. In a the 2nd a solid raj yoga gives name and wealth. A debilitated planet can give very good results if the planet is causeing good yogas, the periuod of the planets will always be stressful though, even if good things happen. I have seen many charts whwere the person does his greatest things under the influence of a debiltated planet, so don't just dismiss them as useless. YOu will alos notice that famous people are often note4d for thier debililtated planets. It is what is weakest and strongest within a man that gievs him the potential fro greatness. Debilitated planets however are always poor for health. Rahu in Aquarius in the 12th would generally not be to bad as Rahu has Aquarius as his own house, if Rahu is under benefic influences then he will tend to give sucess in his period, as tyhe 12th lod in the 12th can free up a perios from many troubles and therfore move one towards success. . He would however tend to make a person feel isolated.
