Neck pain can be from numerous causes. but the most common is stress and the

inability to relax during difficult times. It is like anything else in life

that it takes practices. If there are no obvious reasons such as

osteoporosis or protruding lumps then there is a good chance that stress is

the leading cause. The problem with stress induced neck pain is that it

escalates by its very nature by creating more stress and then a cycle of

habitual patterns take place. The only way to accelerate the healing process

is to break these patterns of habit.

#1.Try to sit quietly, with you back strength, letting you head droop

forward. With practice your chin should eventually touch you chest.

#2. Hot wet towels will help also.

#3. While you are doing this try to quiet your mind and say "These to will

pass. all things do"

#4. Once your neck starts to loosen up try rolling your head back and forth

and trying to touch you chin to each shoulder. DO NOT FORCE IT, Relaxed is

the key here!
