Guest guest
Dr Bhate you are amazingly prolific - i don't know where you get the time to write! regarding the Ganga, i have a hard time believing that the pathogens dissipate on their own, but if you have any additional evidence of this i would be interested to see it by any measure the most sacred of rivers has become an industrial and biological hazard, at least down river from the headwaters on the day i rafted down the Ganga, i saw raw sewage and effluent pouring into it, as well as many dead animals and human corpses floating in the river - from my studies, i cannot believe the acharyas of old would ever say that the Ganga is a safe river to drink from or bathe in "Some 300 million gallons of waste go into the Ganges each day, and the effects are stunning: recent water samples collected in Varanasi revealed fecal-coliform counts of about 50,000 bacteria per 100 milliliters of water, 10,000% higher than the government standard for safe river bathing. The result of this pollution is an array of water- borne diseases including cholera, hepatitis, typhoid and amoebic dysentery. An estimated 80% of all health problems and one-third of deaths in India are attributable to water-borne diseases." http://www.sacredland.org/world_sites_pages/Ganges.html i did come across a reference to the work of a DS Bhargava, as well as a citation to an article from 1996 from the travel magazine Geographical (Kalshian, Rakesh "Ganges Has Magical Cleaning Properties," Geographical, 66:5, April 1994), both of which apparently claim that suspended wastes in the Ganga are neutralized 15 to 20 times faster than other rivers, but the source of this claim is very obscure, oft repeated, with no evidence to support this contention - if you have any more information with regard to this, i would like to see it as well best... todd caldecott On 4-May-06, at 3:49 PM, ayurveda wrote: > Similar to these spring waters, waters from holy rivers of India > should also be mentioned. The root cause of the spread of Thelesmia and several other similar congenital diseases is, genetic disorders introduced by blood mismatch at marriage time. this author too noticed that your observation regarding LOHANA cast is very appropriate. Extraneous factors drive marriage matching, especially in this cast. We ayurvedists must find ayurvedic solutions in the present circumstances. Further details of what is written here may be found in a very old message at: http://health.ayurveda/messages/1656 Initially this author thought that the subject title chosen by you is inappropriate, but then it dawned on him, that this is gold rule, since it affects genetics and whole future generation of everyone. Guest guest
Dear Friends I am Vishal Muliya, Research Scholar cum Ph.D. student in Department of Botany, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara, India. I am patient of Thelesemia minor and I got this diseases from my paternal side. I am thalesemic with G6-PD deficiency. Once in discussion with one professor of botany, he suggested me to take one preparation for increasing Hb count in blood which is as follow. Take one vessel (Tawa) of iron and put Honey in it. (Coat inner surface of tawa with honey) and spread Trifala Churna 5-7 gram and keep it overnight. In morning add 40-50 ml warm water in it to collect the whole honey and take it with empty stomach. It will give only chelated iron and it is easy to digest. It works but should be done under supervision of Physician. And taste of preparation of metallic so take this fact into consideration. Please reply if any one is planning to do such experiment Thanking You Bye Vishal Muliya Shirish Bhate <shirishbhate > wrote: The root cause of the spread of Thelesmia and several other similar congenital diseases is, genetic disorders introduced by blood mismatch at marriage time. ------------------------ Sponsor --------------------~--> Protect your PC from spy ware with award winning anti spy technology.
